Jo's Life: Perhaps
http://johannasalt.blogspot.com/2014/01/perhaps.html
Life doesn't always come out the way we plan it, but it is still as beautiful! Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Once again in the friend zone! Lately, I've been contemplating withdrawing myself from the dating scene altogether , once again. I'm really tired. Tired of the emotional roller coaster. Tired of not knowing from one moment to the next where I stand. Tired of hurting. Tired of dreaming and wishing for the impossible. Yet, I still hang in there. Why? Perhaps because I'm strong and can make it through?

http://unangstyteen.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 20, 2012. I woke up this morning with my Facebook feed once again filled with thoughts and prayers and horror over what just happened in our beautiful state (the last time being the fire. And there it is, splashed across the front page of every news site. I couldn't stop saying "ohmygod ohmygod". Because really, what else is there to say? So I'm sitting here asking myself what I do now. My life can't, won't, stop. That's not how it works. As I see it, I have two choices. Or I can go out and ...

New Zealand It Is Then!: Even The Man got intrigued
http://newzealanditisthen.blogspot.com/2015/01/even-man-got-intrigued.html
New Zealand It Is Then! A story of a family and a house on a hill. Things to (maybe) have in my home. Even The Man got intrigued. When creating bracing lines, would it be an acceptable solution to put piles on the outside wall of the lounge and the kitchen so that part of the kitchen sits on cantilevered joists? The fact that I even UNDERSTAND what the heck it means, let alone that I HAVE WRITTEN IT MYSELF, gives me a little kick. Filed under Everyday stuff. Things I write about. This blog is part of.

Autumn Leaf Farm: The first of August
http://thehuckinshome.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-first-of-august.html
August 9, 2015. The first of August. He begins to let his body slump into mine as we walk. The warmth of our body's tucked closely together, it's sweaty. It's good. Not quite asleep yet, he grabs for leaves on the trees we pass. I pause and let him touch and feel them. We follow the warn tractor paths. Paths used for decades and decades to cut the hay, to gather firewood, to reach the woods. As we enter the woods, the humidity is cut back with the cool forest floor beneath us and tree canopy shading us.

One mile above sea level and counting. Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Salty Dog, Sailing and a Spectacular Sunset. So, we treated the boys to some snorkel gear of their own. We were back at Siesta Key for dinner and a sunset walk on the beach. The rain had subsided but due to the threat of rain, I left my camera at our condo. As it turned out, it was a glorious sunset as the clouds parted and gave way to the sunshine. Oh well, we can't capture it all. The Old Salty Dog. The boys love it too! Mommy with her lit...

bare foot notes: June 2013

Small steps under the big sky*. Thursday, June 6, 2013. Today, as you drove past this spot, you stopped. You left all the windows down, turned the radio up,. And whooped to your girls to climb out and dance. And we should consider every day lost. On which we have not danced at least once.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
