Monday, July 5, 2010. We did succeed at staying off the internet this weekend! We spent three days in the wonderful Golden Isles of Georgia, specifically Jekyll Island. Mike has been very busy for the last seven months so we thought we deserved it. We had a brief getaway in February so we decided to do another short getaway for our anniversary. I researched a few island hotels, and I found one that wasn't too expensive and right on the beach. Oceanside Inn and Suites. At the Horton House built in 1742.
