Monday, February 22, 2010. How I love thee. In the five years we have lived in the desert, this has definitely been the most cold and rainy. When we lived in Orange County I would dread the wet winters. Having to battle so cal traffic on top of drenched roadways, was not my cup of tea. But now, having to live in 6 months a year of scorching heat, I truly appreciate mother nature's gift of winter! The dark, thunderous clouds, blustery winds, and downpour of water are part of a season I gladly welcome!

Sunday, January 23, 2011. My Mom, Dana Larsen King 12/10/1955 - 1/18/2011. As many of you already know, my Mom passed away last Tuesday. She struggled for a long time with Multiple Sclerosis. And finally on Monday she was admitted into the hospital with a case of pneumonia. At 5:25 Tuesday evening, she passed away. She taught me so much even to her very last day. She was too good of a person! She didn't deserve this! I love you Mom, and I will live my life the best I can so I can be with you again someday.
