Went to the LA Temple to see the lights. On Saturday Hannah, Aaron, My Mom, Rik and myself went up to the LA Temple to see the display of Christmas lights. Due to the renovation of the visitors center they did not have a lighting ceremony, which ment that there was hardly anyone there. My kids loved it!

Wednesday, October 5, 2011. We loaded up the Westy Rig and headed off to Big Sur to meet our (Deaver) aunts and uncles for the annual camp out. On the way up we decided to stop at Pinnacles National monument and weren't disappointed. The girls were ready for the adventure. The van was fully loaded and ready to camp! EmmaJane was ready to hike (with the help of a gentle nudge from Scott). We entered at the west entrance and really enjoyed the beautiful park and huge rocks. Lets go for it! No sweat for mom.

Thursday, June 16, 2011. Time for a Change. First, here's a lamp I made for Wendy. I found a clear vase from Tuesday Morning and Gorilla-glued a bottle lamp kit to the top. (Lamp kits like this cost $5 at Walmart and can be put into the top of a narrow-necked vase to turn it into a lamp! I also made a cute lamp for myself from a little vase, but don't have a picture of that. Next project: a child-sized chair recovered for my Laney-pooh!
