Saturday, November 8, 2008. We are beginning to prepare for the end of the year Christmas party that the English center will throw for all the students and kids. We have about 240 Samaritan Purse gift boxes to distribute and we'll be putting of a Christmas Bible story play / musical to which we are writing and composing the script. Monday, August 18, 2008. After finishing the first module of Thai language school on Thursday, Katey, Christy (a friend we met at Thai school), and I, took off to the beach for a 2-day mini-vacay. We went to Koh Samed which was about 4 hours from Bangkok with both the bus and ferry ride added in. But it was certainly worth the long treck! Anyways, that's about all I can muster for now. P Fon (is the girl who we stay at the center with) Jess and i taught her some English slang and one of those words were "peeps" and so now she no longer address people as "people" but rather "peeps". Its great! We have been in Roi-et for two weeks now. We will be home in 30 days, not that i am keeping track.at least not trying too! We also put together a dance for the younger kids to dance to. Thursday, 12 February 2009. What channel will I be advertising? I decided after looking at my channels, and thinking of what I could do for them, that I wanted to choose a comedy channel. I decided to make one for an imaginary channel called “COM” comedy channel for older viewers. Content' such as bad language, nudity etc. I wanted this to be, so that my ident has less restrictions and can not easily offend younger people. I found an image of the new red nose and thought i would try and reproduce it.
