http://sr26-wildwing64.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Steven's 3D Module Project. Sunday, 19 October 2008. Tree - Work In Progress. The second object to be used for my October image is nearly complete, and I've been working quite hard on this for the last couple of weeks. Since October is the start of Autumn, I have been working on an Autumn tree, which will be my main focus for said image. After applying meshsmooth, I then extruded some roots from where the original box was, and then applied meshsmooth again. The new branches, as well as the leaves, were c...

Blog By Youngsy: Pipes and egg splitter
http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/pipes-and-egg-splitter.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. Pipes and egg splitter. I had to create some tubes for the egg to travel in and a cone for the egg to drop in, for this u used tubes for the pipes, spheres for the corner connecters and cones with one end scaled in as the drop funnels. I then added a metal map for the piping, I got this map from,. Http:/ www.3dplace.net/. I then created 2 triangle shapes using half a box, these will be used to split the egg when it falls, these are held up by a small bracket made out of small boxes.

Blog By Youngsy: Ident 1 Animation
http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/ident-1-animation.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. The chicken was animated 1 piece at a time to look at the camera and wiggle its bum, I done this by using the timeline, set keys and the move tool. I animated both halves of the egg to fall out of the chickens bum and into the tubes and follow the pipes then drop and hit the splitter, I then used the set keys to edit the animation of each of the halves of the egg separately,. CameraI used 2 camera paths in this ident to get the camera to go where I wanted it and the direction of the c...

Blog By Youngsy: Soup In The Jug
http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/soup-in-jug.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. Soup In The Jug. I wanted to create something that looked like soup to go in the jug then to be poured into the bowl, this is how i did it. To create the soup in the jug I created a sphere and added a map to it to make it look like tomato soup, I got this map from - http:/ www.lps.org/busaff/nutrition/ftp/FoodPics/Tomato Soup.jpg. I then used the set key and animated the sphere flattening as the jug is being poured using the scale tool. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/mental-ray-lighting.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. I followed a video tutorial to learn how to use Mental ray lighting,. As before I used a scene from last semester, opened up the rendering window, and assigned ‘mental ray renderer’ as the production render as before. I dragged out a spot light onto the scene and positioned it over the Easter eggs, and also i turned on shadows,. Here is a shot of the scene with the spot light in. Here is a shot of the rendered image using the ‘mr Area Spot’. As I found out this gives a lot more in-dep...

Alexs! Blog: April 2009
http://alextheblogboy.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Friday, 3 April 2009. Sky One Ident 1. The first Sky One Ident I Have created is going to have a nightime effect in the jungle. I started off with the idea that I would have some sky one text on the scene from the start and have a camera panning around it with the black smoke from Lost travelling at some speed around the SKY ONE logo. The first job was to create the text, but as I hadn't got the Sky one font at this point, I just used some generic text to see what it would look like:. The mouse cursor sh...

Steven's 3D Module Project: April 2009
http://sr26-wildwing64.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Steven's 3D Module Project. Monday, 20 April 2009. This is, so far, the most complete one out of all three of my idents. Using the Space Shuttle featured in my previous entry, as well as a tutorial that helped me to make Planet Earth, as well as a star field in the background, this is what I have at the moment:. In the above screengrab, I've labeled where I've placed the bomb. It doesn't need to be placed directly into the object to blow it up. As for the fiery blast in the ident itself, that's actually ...

Steven's 3D Module Project. Tuesday, 5 May 2009. And now, I present to you the final three idents. I will also explain the changes I made to each one, except for the rather obvious inclusion of sound. SRTV Ident 1 - Ton Weight. As the SRTV branded ton weight hits the ground. SRTV Ident 2 - Curry. SRTV Ident 3 - Space Shuttle. And last of all, for those of you who want a better look at the holiday photo in Ident 2, here it is, complete with a photo frame:. So what did I think of this Module overall? I act...
