Our first family snow man. Been here for five years now. That's five winters. Never built a snow man. So yesterday we decided the day was calling for a snow man. We bundled up and played in the snow. Hubby rolled the biggest ball of ice for the base. I rolled the medium-sized ball for the belly, and Jake rolled the small ball for the head. Turned out, we never built one before because we were waiting for Jake to be here and help build our first family snow man. Sunday, February 22, 2015. 171; Older Post.

My first mothers day. So it's official. I'm a Mom and I just celebrated my first Mother's Day last Sunday. Being a mom is no freaking joke. it's by far the hardest role I've ever done (play music here for 19 hours of unforgettable labor pains) and yet the most fulfilling one (I get to steal a bunch of kisses from a sweet smelling cute baby). So that's how long I've neglected this blog. Yikes! As always. so little time, so much to do. B-U-S-Y is the word. I planned J's first birthday party. helped launch a couple of new products. updated a client's whole new website. took a cake decorating class and made cakes. bought a mini-van. tried to keep up with baby's development and shots and doctor's appointments. all these while trying to catch up with my ever-growing pile of laundry! We then made our way towards Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse in Seal Rocks - a small coastal settlement in the Great Lakes Council Local Government Area - making a short stopover at a beautiful lookout point along the way.
