Tuesday, June 20, 2006. As I blogged less than 2 days ago, I discovered Flock. And found it to be useful. However, as I experimented with it more and more, I found out its usefulness for me is limited to writing and uploading blogs. I have thought that the image upload feature would be useful but, alas, I can't use it in Multiply. Though it's not Flock's fault) and FlickrExport. So I went and googled for such an extension. Mr Jake hosted his First Thanksgiving in our new house and he's been a real trooper that night. He's been passed around from an uncle to an aunt to a cousin to another cousin and he was just taking it all in. This early, we can already tell that Mr. Jake is a social butterfly. Life of the party. My boss threw a baby shower for Jake yesterday. It's his first party ever and he was awake the entire time. Everybody was all ohhh and awww when the party boy got there. He loved the attention in his careless sort of way. We practically stopped operations for at least an hour. Everybody came by to see him and say Hi! Even people from other departments. So that's how long I've neglected this blog. Yikes! As always. so little time, so much to do. B-U-S-Y is the word. I planned J's first birthday party. helped launch a couple of new products. updated a client's whole new website. took a cake decorating class and made cakes. bought a mini-van. tried to keep up with baby's development and shots and doctor's appointments. all these while trying to catch up with my ever-growing pile of laundry! 中寮

中寮鄉位於臺灣中部南投縣稍偏西，東邊銜接國姓鄉與水里鄉，西北邊為南投市西側為名間鄉，南側鄰集集鎮，北面為草屯鎮。全區總面積約為146平方公里，佔南投縣面積之3.57%。原為洪雅族居地。清嘉慶時期，由福建漳州等地居民遷居本鄉闢地生活，人口逐漸聚居形成村莊。在清代屬彰化縣永平坑「通稱平林仔」，設總理治理一般行政。日治時期屬於南投廳，至1903年三月將八杞仙、鄉親寮、龍眼區則併入營盤口區「即現今之中興新村」，迨至1920年十月修改行政區域，重劃八杞仙、鄉親寮、龍眼林「營盤口除外」三區合併為中寮庄，隸屬臺中州南投郡管轄，及至1946後始改為中寮鄉。訂閱：文章 (Atom).
