The goings and comings of some very ordinary people. Friday, February 14, 2014. My friend Ann is an amazing photographer. Her gift to new mama's is a newborn photo shoot and I couldn't think of a better gift. I've never had newborn pictures taken before, but I'm so grateful I did this time. These are TREASURE! She just came to my home, took picture in my living room, and the results are real life and real beautiful. I love the lighting, the natural feel, and I love how tiny that 9 pound baby looks.

I wanted to capture pictures with more than just my phone. And I'm sure glad I did. I think looking to find good pictures helps me to be more aware of what's around me and to appreciate it more fully. These are pulled straight off the camera, I didn't do any editing to them. Macey loved decorating her own shirt and it was probably way cooler than one of those screen printed shirts anyhow. Ben and Lachelle's Bunch. Our attempt at keeping in touch and journaling! Tuesday, June 4, 2013. So yesterday we had the follow-up meeting for Gavin and his placement next year. It was a good conversation and at the end the district lady made the recommendation that he be placed in the Stepping Stones program! She even made the comment she had come with the intention to leave him at his "home" school, but by the end, she didn't feel it was what was best for him. What a mighty miracle! The Story of Us.
