It still is, despite having endured one of the hottest summers recorded in North Carolina history, and previously unfamiliar with this thing called ‘humidity.’ But, with the autumnal equinox less than two days away, the days will be getting shorter soon, the weather will cool and all of the great things summer brings with it will fade away. An outsider's exploration of the South. 8220;Real Job”. I’ve noticed that there are a lot more insects here in the South than in the Southwest. Not only have I seen a lot more bugs outside, I have seen way more that have made their way indoors than I am used to/comfortable with. I love the realness of cramming into a moto taxi with three strangers and holding onto the bar in-front of you, not knowing whether the door (that didn’t seem like it closed properly when the driver shut it) is going to fly open.
