Welcome to the Kirklees Image Archive. Now contains 61842 images. Photographs taken by the late Reg Stone (1921-2011) of Skelmanthorpe have been added to the archive. These include wartime images taken during his time in India and Burma between 1943 – 1946. Also included are photographs showing the post-war local textile industry in which he worked, ones showing the results of the collapse of Emley Moor tower in 1969, and the building of the mast familiar today.
