Knit A Little More. Friday, January 11, 2008. This cloth was done in a variation of the sand stitch. All odd rows are knit and the pattern is made by k1, p1 on the even rows. This cloth has about the same number of stitches as Sweethearts Version 1 but measures 8 1/4" wide by 9 1/4" tall. Of course, for dishcloths, size is not that important. Stay tuned as more versions of this basic pattern are in the works! Sweethearts, Version 2. Row 1-7 and all odd rows) knit all stitches. Row 8, 10, 12) k4, p32, k4.
