Mama Hen: January 2012
http://mamahenmay.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Jason and I met our friends, Sam and Rebecca Pollock, in Newport Beach, CA, over the weekend. They are great friends from dental school. We hit Universal Studios. [Piper is a little disturbed by this picture.]. It was warm enough for boogie boarding at the beach. At least, Jason and Sam thought it was. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mama Hen: Fourth of July
http://mamahenmay.blogspot.com/2012/07/fourth-of-july.html
Thursday, July 5, 2012. We had a great Fourth! Piper, Sicily, and I started with a hike up Green Canyon in the morning. Then our family read The Declaration of Independence together. They did not appreciate it as I hoped, but we'll get there someday. We have a great Fourth of July tradition with the Dalebouts: a progressive dinner. We started with appetizers and face-painting at Amanda's house. Next we had apple pie and a bocce ball tournament at Grandma's house. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Mama Hen: July 2012
http://mamahenmay.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 29, 2012. Ever since we lived on Whidbey Island (WA) from 2000-2001, I've said my dream vacation was to come back to the San Juan Islands when our kids were older and ferry hop from island to island with our bikes. On Orcas Island. Our friends, Dave, Christine, and Jared Higham came with us. We parked our cars in Anacortes, WA, loaded our bags in trailers and took the ferry to Friday Harbor, San Juan Island, which was our home base. Roche Harbor, San Juan Island. We didn't just cycle. We...

http://mamahenmay.blogspot.com/2011/05/m-is-for-may.html
Wednesday, May 4, 2011. M is for May. Annie and I did? I liked it so much I decided to apply it to my rather bare front porch. Before and After. It still needs a little something else, but it's a good start. What is the M made out of? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://congopit.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
LIFE AS IT IS IN KIN! TALES OF A SOUTH AFRICAN EXPAT FAMILY LIVING IN THE DRC. Me and my family! Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Monday, April 20, 2009. I clearly cannot explain to you how utterly busy we have been these last 2 weeks prior to leaving this city and country. I suppose anyone who has been through it all, will be able to share. It is so overwhelming that I can't even take a piss ( not my usual words, but I needed to use them)! Easter Dinner turned Kareoke at Meeja. Carolyn's Birthday Lunch (above).

LIFE AS IT IS IN KIN! TALES OF A SOUTH AFRICAN EXPAT FAMILY LIVING IN THE DRC. Me and my family! Thursday, July 02, 2009. We all need closure to progress, and that's why I needed to write this last entry, not that my life will come to an end, just that this chapter is now closed, yet never erased! One day, hopefully soon I will write again, with perhaps another story to tell. Labels: Sunset at Bakoven Beachfront a view from our balcony. 21 July 2009 at 12:56.
