I got to use some sewing machine accessories I̵...

My crazy, hectic, crafty life!: Quick and Easy Wall Hanging
http://craftycassidy.blogspot.com/2011/03/quick-and-easy-wall-hanging.html
Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Quick and Easy Wall Hanging. I have always loved this saying! Laura and I decided to make a Eugene trip to get more craft supplies because we were both running low on almost everything. I am so glad I went! I was debating on what I wanted to put the saying on and was looking at wood when I came across this iron platter. As soon as I saw it I knew it would be perfect. And I was so pleased everything stayed put and turned out nice! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My name is Cas...

http://craftywimama.blogspot.com/2013/09/my-favorite-fall-posts.html
My Favorite Fall Posts. It's been a little over a year since I started blogging. It's been quite the journey, and I really enjoy writing and sharing much more than I imagined. It helps that there are so many wonderful ladies in the blogosphere, who are so inspiring! I get a little sentimental when looking back at old posts, and I thought I'd round up my favorites from last fall. Please don't mind the poor photos - practice makes progress! Need a new wreath, but don't want to spend much? At the Dollar Tree.

I like upcycling, repurposing and crafting with my kids. Archive for the tag “rainy day fun”. I guess this is more of a furniture revamp than an upcycle: we bought a table, and it remains a table. Just now it is a fabulous, funky table! First we removed the legs, which luckily were attached with screws so were easy to disassemble. This slideshow requires JavaScript. Legs were then reattached after sanding down. We didn’t need to sand the top as we had other plans for that…. However I do have a detailed p...

My crazy, hectic, crafty life!: Spring Wreath
http://craftycassidy.blogspot.com/2011/03/spring-wreath.html
Monday, March 28, 2011. There are so many fun Spring projects out there that I decided since I love making wreaths that I would do one for Spring. I love the way it turned out. I started out with a wood wreath I bought from DollarTree. I was able to find this cute ribbon that really reminded me of Spring at DollarTree as well. I started wrapping the ribbon around the wreath. I loved the look of it even before it was completely done. Then I hung it from my wreath with pink ribbon I had laying around.
