Tea at my Table. If you came by my door, I'd invite you in for a cup of tea at my table where we'd catch up on our lives. Consider yourself invited. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Vacation and SMV #23. I've had much to tell you since we've been home from our travels. But I had to conquer Mt. Laundry, restock food supplies, cyber shop on Monday (I missed black Friday, much to my chagrin) and re-enter reality. It's been rough. We saw 5 dolphins on our way to Caper's Island. So beautiful! Here are my three fav...

Oh, my friends, I pray your Christmas was blessed and that you felt the presence of Christ. Our holiday was very good. I especially enjoyed the Christmas Eve service we attended. The music was beautiful and the message was inspiring. That will make for great sledding! How are you at keeping them if you do?

Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Tonight i walked home from campus. it was just too pretty outside to drive. and while listening to Phil Wickham i decided to take off my shoes. and i talked to God. and he talked back. I had a "collision moment" on a footpath along highland road. Collision moments" (as i call them) are times when you feel the presence of God in an undeniable way. the name stems from Collision 08 night 2. if you were there, you know exactly what i mean. Ok, im going to get back to my laundry.

Sunday, March 21, 2010. Just for the sake of blogging. Norman wants to see the world burn. I've heard him say it about 30 times in the past 10 minutes. I on the other hand, have another wish. I'd like to build a world a home. And furnish it with love. Grow apple trees and honey bees. And snow white turtle doves. I'd like to teach the world to sing. I'd like to hold it in my arms,. And keep it company. I'd like to see the world for once. All standing hand in hand. And hear them echo through the hills.

Monday, March 16, 2009. And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.". I doubt if Jesus had a nice cup of coffee to sip on, or a big comfortable chair to lounge in. but i have definitely found my desolate place this morning. my "secret place" if you will (thanks for that one Broussard). and i found it right in my very dorm room. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Today God used a guy named kevin to encourage me. This wasnt the actual kevin that i talked to. but what ever). He happened to be sitting at the same table in the cafeteria as some friends and i, and bec and i struck up a conversation. I learned that he's from mandeville, and he wants to be a bio medical engineer. After we had been talking for a while he said (referring to bec and i), "ya'll must be, like, church people or something.". Thanks for the encouragement Lord. I woke ...

This Is My Mess and I Love It: October 2011
http://mymessandiloveit.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
This Is My Mess and I Love It. Saturday, October 22, 2011. I saw this cute idea on pinterest to make a pizza with cheese cut out in the shape of ghosts. The original idea came from myrecipes.com. But I just took the concept and did my own thing. Here's how we did it: First roll out your pizza dough, add pizza sauce, and any other toppings you like. Next, use a ghost shape cookie cutter to cut out slices of mozzarella or provolone cheese. Place your cheese ghosts on top of the pizza. Links to this post.
