We were scheduled to induce tomorrow, January 24, but we had to do it early due to me having high blood pressure. It was a surprise, but it was a fun surprise! We are loving having Beau home! I have a lot I would love to catch up and post. I am going to start with now and go back as I have time. We just got back from Destin, Fl with T.R.'s family. It was a blast! Beau is not in any of the pictures because he stayed in Texarkana with Nana and Doc. Can't wait until he is old enough to go with us!

Sunday, April 5, 2015. The Sandlins in March. We started out our March with our school Hoedown. That had to be rescheduled due to a snow day. It was Sophie's last Fort Concho dance, which was a little sad after 5 years. Both kids also competed in TRIYS. Another year. Another last for Sophie, but this one wasn't quite as sad! Friday, September 19, 2014. House Progress: Guest Room. Our guest room was the first room we actually finished as far as the tile, paint, and ceiling. Last weekend my parents brought the bed for the room and we finished putting it together. With all of our family living out of town I really wanted to find a house with an extra bedroom. I'm so thankful we have a comfortable place to put our company! This is the room when we bought the house. The previous owners used it for an office. Come see us sometime!

Saturday, February 13, 2010. We've Got a StoryTeller on our hands! As a first grader, Jackson is eligible to participate in PSIA at school, which is a private school UIL competition. He was eligible for Creative Writing and Storytelling. When these opportunities came up, I thought they were great opportunities to expand his academic mind. He agreed to go, and actually came home after the first practice saying that he enjoyed it. :). If this makes you uncomfortable, you DO NOT have to do this!

Because I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and my Savior! I am at war against unbelief and really desire to kill the lies my flesh, the Enemy, and the world that constantly come into my thought life. I know that the battle for faith in God really is a mental battle and must fight it with the Word of God (the Sword of the Spirit).
