Thursday, November 1, 2012. A day of firsts. Being that we don't celebrate Halloween, or do most things associated with it, yesterday was full of fun and new activities. It was a gorgeous day, so I decided it was time to introduce the kids to the fine art of pumpkin carving, which was made even more fun when the neighborhood kids joined us:. I failed to take pictures of the kids scooping out the pumkin goop, but you can be sure there was plenty of "ooh, gross! The girls looked so precious and authentic.

Brady turned 4 on Saturday, and I love the little guy he is becoming.he is so funny, helpful, independent, focused, and playful. I just keep reminding myself that it's worth 20 minutes of horrible-ness and a few days of discomfort to have clear vision! Monday, July 23, 2012. So long, old friends. On August 31 I hope to be rid of the fog and the contacts and the glasses forever! At least until I get old and need readers) I'm undergoing laser eye surgery and I'm thrilled! The nurse assured me that with a little valium the 15 minute surgery will be over in no time. I'll then spend the weekend resting my scratchy eyes. The doctor told me that he'd write a prescription for me that included no cleaning, laundry or preparing meals! Saturday, July 21, 2012.
