The Snow Returns | Life In Idaho
https://lifeinidahodotcom.wordpress.com/2014/01/29/the-snow-returns
Living the life we love in Idaho. In This and That. While the rest of the country has been hogging all the snow and cold…we have been cool and dreary. Clouds, freezing fog and bare, dead ground. Kind of blah for winter. But yesterday the jet stream finally shifted and the snow started falling. Of course the truck waited for the first big snow storm — in over a month– to die along the side of the road! Dang…3 hours and $280 later…. Spiceologist Block…a very clever way to store your spices! Living the life we love in Idaho. Lakeland Cheer and Districts 2013. In This and That. What a long but incredibly successful day we had yesterday at Lake City High School. Lakeland Cheer came out strong competing against Sandpoint High School in the 4A division, but also competing against three 5A division schools (Coeur d’Alene, Lake City and Post Falls) for the Grand Champion trophy. Yesterday we qualified all four of our routines to go to State in March! We have a large group of seniors on the team:.

Living the life we love in Idaho. Spring brings a new neighbor! I just love the neighbor’s horses. They are beautiful and just driving by them each day makes me smile! I knew the mare was getting a bit big…and then the other week I saw the baby! She is only a few weeks old and stuck close to mom when I stopped with my camera. Spring is in the Air in North Idaho. February 2nd | Life In Idaho
https://lifeinidahodotcom.wordpress.com/2014/02/02/february-2nd
Living the life we love in Idaho. In This and That. So the ground hog saw it’s shadow and now we will have 6 more weeks of winter. I don’t mind the snow right now since we hadn’t had it for a month. My husband has only had to plow 4 days all winter and two of them were this past week. This was this morning. The back forest. I don’t call it a back yard because there isn’t much to the lawn back there. End of summer…. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). Ride or d...

Living the life we love in Idaho. Spring is in the Air in North Idaho. In This and That. Here is a sure sign that spring is not that far off…. Mr Squirrel comes to town! We don’t have but a couple squirrels that hang out in our little wood, so when they show up, it’s pretty notable. Not just because it bounces around and does acrobatic tricks on the bird feeders…. But because it’s noisier than all the other birds put together! Spring is in the air and with it comes the squirrel alarm clock! I just entere...

Deconstructing CCSS | Turn On Your Brain
https://turnonyourbrain.wordpress.com/2011/12/23/deconstructing-ccss
Turn On Your Brain. Resources and Reflection on Contemporary Issues in Education. This entry was posted on December 23, 2011, in Common Core. This is bound to be one doozy of a blog post! For some of the more simplified standard statements, this method works. But, I want to dissuade you from doing that and encourage you, as a teacher, administrator, curriculum specialist, to sit down and devote a little bit of time to deconstructing the standards with a group of peers. Why? 1 Pick a standard, any standard.

Cheerleading Rule Changes, March 2012 | Cheerleading Daily
https://cheerleadingdaily.wordpress.com/2012/03/29/cheerleading-rule-changes-march-2012
Cheerleading wisdom for all to enjoy! Laquo; Single-Base to Hands. Cheerleading and the Olympics. Cheerleading Rule Changes, March 2012. They are right. IT IS NOT FAIR. However, it is still the right thing to do. By they way, before you assume your program is one of the innocent ones, maybe you should think again. Do cheerleaders in your program start working on standing tucks before they have perfect standing back handspring series? Are there 10 or 20 kids in the gym that cross compete of multiple teams...

Feb 10, 2009. Twenty years ago on this day was one of the worst experiences of my life. Watching your mom die unexpectedly is something no child should ever have to witness. But three children did that day, and it has changed our lives forever. The mom I knew was soft, gentle, extremely talented, and more loving than anyone on earth. . I miss her terribly. God works in weird ways, but I still trust Him. And I can't wait to see mom again. Posted by Glen Robinson. Jan 25, 2009. Posted by Glen Robinson.

October 18, 2012. Teaching Myself to Write Backward. Posted in Life in Other Meters. I called a contest with myself,. My insides humming like a hive:. I’ll make my mind a mirror, I said. Da Vinci did it. So can I. My marbled composition book. Yawned open, white as Leo’s beard,. The sunny sophomore afternoon. Upon my backward ink-dare sneered. My wheels and cogs, once east, cranked west –. With ardor gearing to reverse –. And rendered English backward! My dogged hand drove slow at first.). So I’m Da Vinci?

Living the life we love in Idaho. End of summer…. In This and That. This is symbolizing my summer. Yes….the end is here. Tomorrow is my first official day back in the classroom. It is a work day so hopefully I can get a lot of work done without everyone chatting and catching up. Not that I don’t love chatting and catching up…but they just can’t get the procrastinator in me started or its hard to turn it off! This picture is also symbolizing my mind right now! Which will get here eventually…. It was so qu...

Loose and tight thoughts about software development. Thursday, December 29, 2016. Thank you, blogspot. It was almost seven years ago when I started to write on blogpost (Blogger right now). From the beginning it was a heavy technology blog about my software development, and I have never thought that someone would read these articles. Now, at the end of 2016 I have about 86.5K. Unique views, what means more than 30 visitors daily, on average. This is amazing. Thank you people. Wednesday, August 3, 2016.

We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." — Anaïs Nin. February 24, 2010. And here I am, over with my I-don’t-know-how-many-times rereading of Anna Karenina. I’ve read it in Romanian, in Russian, in English and now in Norwegian. It still remains an absolutely grand book of all times. It is indeed one of the greatest novels ever written. Links to this post. December 02, 2009. Those who can wait are the winners. I was just reading an article in one of the Norwegian papers about the ability o...

Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Arctic Winter MFT and Lawn Fawn. Today I’d like to share with you a card that I made especially for winter time. I’ve always been fascinated with the idea that it stays dark so long in the Arctic during winter, with very little daylight. I wonder what it’s like for the animals that live there? Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Wednesday Challenge. I hope you like it! February 07, 2018. Monday, January 29, 2018. Today I'm sharing a card I made for My Favorite Things Sketch 369.
