Life outside the M25: August 2014. Sunday, 24 August 2014. Life in Oman: 6 months. I decided since I have been so awful updating this blog, the best way to get back on track is to give my thoughts on life in Oman now that I've hit the six month mark. Six months already! I intend to do this little update at regular intervals (the next obvious one being at the one year mark) to track how my thoughts on the place change. Please keep in mind this is a very personal experience . Very relaxed pace of life.

Life outside the M25: July 2015. Thursday, 30 July 2015. Life lately: Home Sweet Home. I can't quite believe I am already half-way through my visit back home. I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about coming back. I had been told that expats can end up having expectations of home that don't match the reality and the result is this feeling that home isn't quite home anymore. I've been a rubbish at taking photographs, but I'll make sure I do better this week and share those with you next time.

Shared this picture earlier this morning (12th May 2014) which shows a pretty big land-slide blocking the road that goes to Seifa from Yiti. No real word on what happened, or when it happened - but it appears that currently the road is still closed. Which means the only way in and out of Seifa at the moment is by boat. Four months after it tripled the interest rate on my line of credit, JP Morgan Chase notified me that the rate increase had been an error and it was returning me to the original rate and crediting my account for any erroneously charged interest. And tons of sweetness. Making us a very happy family of FOUR! Preparing to be a Big Brother. 1 Get a BIG boy MONSTER room- Matty has been a stud about sleeping in his big boy bed and really LOVES all his monsters. Grrrrr. 2 Try potty training- Not so successful. At least someone in the house wanted to clean.
