Linda's Poems: April 2014
http://lindaspoetry.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2014. I'm writing a poem for the thirtieth morning in a row. The first morning I sat in bed all cozy comfy. But that woke Gary up. The second morning. I sat in my recliner with my feet raised while the sun. Smeared the room with butter. I wrote about that. The next day I went out on the porch and have been. Here ever since. I won't bore you with another sun. Description or what the breeze feels like on my bare. Shoulders. Instead, I'll write about.well, I don't know. To cavort like d...

balmyblurts: PUBLIC DOMAIN 3-GOLDFISH SYNDROME
http://www.balmyblurts.com/2010/10/entered-main-office-closing-door-to.html
Sally Hudson chose this spot to fulfill her compelling need to share stuff she probably shouldn't. The prose are short bits of storytelling in the vain hope of being entertaining. Monday, October 11, 2010. PUBLIC DOMAIN 3-GOLDFISH SYNDROME. Richard entered the main office closing the door to the craft service room behind him. He looked perplexed. Pamela was consoling a sobbing Jaclyn at the reception desk. He turned to Pamela and asked, “What’s all this? 8221; Jaclyn looked down at her hands and then sta...

~Linda's Stuff: A Little Plane Ride
http://garlinjake.blogspot.com/2014/08/a-little-plane-ride.html
Saturday, August 2, 2014. A Little Plane Ride. A spot in a hangar opened up near our son's house so we flew the plane over to his place in NH, then he flew back to Maine with us, we went to lunch, then he flew the plane back. I snapped a bunch of pictures along the way. A pretty farm scene. Nay waiting for us on the side of the taxiway. And here is Nay's home across the pond from the airport. It's the second one from the left. Beautiful photos, so lush and green! Nathans house is on a gorgeous spot!

May 17, 2014 at 10:42 PM. You inspire me. I think I will do the same with my camera. Posting them, however, may be a different matter. June 28, 2014 at 12:44 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Picture Inspiration: March 2011
http://lindas365project.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 27, 2011. Okay, I know it's already almost April! I'm not doing a 365 project this year but I am participating in Picture Inspiration. It's a year-long online photography workshop. Once a week we get an email with a prompt. I thought I'd keep track of it on this blog. The first week we had to do a self portrait. I'm not very photogenic. And took about 50 pictures before I got a half decent one. For our fourth assignment, we had to take a picture of something stacked up. From top to bottom:.

Sunday, August 14, 2011. Week 24: Shooting for the Stars. Our Assignment this week was to look for star shapes in nature. I didn't do very well since I was distracted by health issues for my MIL and caretaking my FIL. But, I did see these stars:. Monday, August 8, 2011. Week 23: Organic Lines. I wasn't really sure what this meant. Tracey showed us a picture of where the ocean meets the sand and the line the foamy waves make. I never managed to do this one. We had to take a photo of our tribe.

Monday, May 30, 2011. Week 14: Bird's Eye View. I actually climbed up a tree to get this shot of the ocean of forget-me-nots in my friend Dottie's yard. Sunday, May 22, 2011. Week 13: From the Ground Up. We had to get down on the ground this week and take a picture from that perspective. I found this tulip with its pretty orange and yellow color on a walk with my Nature Journaling kids. I like how the base of the flower is like sunshine. Monday, May 16, 2011. This week we had to find something mysterious.

Linda's Poems: May 2014
http://lindaspoetry.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 10, 2014. From my sister, Sally. We're sitting in bed on this last full day. Of our third winter in Florida. Retirement. Is a good novel and we gladly turn the pages. One day at a time. We're watching a documentary. About a group of boat racers trying to set a circumnavigation. Record in a boat using biofuels. They're in Panama. Right now trying to get through the canal but are having. Problems. One guy just sliced his foot and they are behind. We aren't racing, anymore; just floating along.
