Wow, what a day Saturday was! It took us all day Sunday to recover! We did have the time of our life and danced in our own sweat! Boy was it Hot! JD's Journey with Spinal Muscular Atrophy! Team JD Kids Foundation. JD is a typical 16 year old boy! He has a vent (life support machine) to help him breath, a trach tube in his neck that the vent connects to so he can breath. He has a g-tube in his stomach to help him eat. A wheelchair to ride in. And an Eye-gaze system (computer w/camera) so he can speak. All of these things on the outside, people see as no quality of life! I see it as, giving a life a chance! Thank you for your input! JD's Journey with Spinal Muscular Atrophy! Team JD Kids Foundation. Saturday, September 15, 2012. Team JD Kids glow-in-the-dark awareness wristbands are in. We didn't get a chance back in August to do any fundraising for any one cause that we believe in so much! With these wristbands we hope to be able to do that now! As most of you know we are trying to raise money for JD a new handicapped van. What better way to raise a little money towards his van fund then with awareness wristbands! You amaze me MJ!
