MEMOIRS OF A LEAH: 2/1/12 - 3/1/12

MEMOIRS OF A LEAH. February 22, 2012. It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas (2010). Another thing we did to get ready for Christmas was to decorate "Grandma's" tree. My mother-in-law's tradition is that the youngest member of the family gets to put the star on the tree so here is our attempt at getting Jaren to do so. It was a fun night. Stay tuned for more shots of everyone. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Its Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas (2010).

MEMOIRS OF A LEAH. June 30, 2013. ECOSWAY's Grand Opening Aug 2011. My Mother-in-Law Michaela, and her cousin Gabriela opened their own eCosway store in Toombul Shopping Center. They had done a lot of network marketing and work to get to this point and we were excited to come to their grand opening and see their beautiful store. We have loved the products they've given us over the years and are so proud of all their work. Here she is, the lady-of-the-hour herself, ringing in the first store purchase.

MEMOIRS OF A LEAH. July 18, 2013. Mormon Helping Hands (Sep 2011). The young single adults in our ward decided to do a yard work. Service project for victims of the flood. They contacted nurseries. And collected donated supplies and they came and asked us what. Our yard wish list would be. Then one Saturday they showed up. With lots of helpers and worked for hours making our lawn more. Beautiful. Kind acts like these really meant so much to us as we. Were trying to get back on our feet. Down newspapers a...

MEMOIRS OF A LEAH. March 29, 2014. Welcome to Salalah (Oct 2011). Next stop: SALALAH. Ok, isn't that a great word? Great tongue twister if you try to say it 5 times. Have I mentioned that we did 17. Flights on this trip. We got to be such pros. However this flight was not one without mishaps. So Reid and I were pretty happy in our seats as you can see, but Jaren and Varian had a bit of a different story. I wish I had gotten a better "before and after" picture of the nice man all dressed in his white.

MEMOIRS OF A LEAH. May 30, 2013. The day of the move and we had lots of lovely ward men come and help with all the heavy lifting both in Brisbane and in Ipswich. Also a big thanks to my parents-in-law: Warren helped with the move all day, and Michaela watched Jaren for me which was a life saver. Luckily Mr. Swing and Reid got along very well that day, poor neglected kid! Here is a shot of us on this busy day, to say goodbye to Reid's first home. Ah, moving is exhausting! But nice when it's all done.

Kevin, Heidi, and Sophia: Discovery Gateway...
http://heidi-frasier.blogspot.com/2010/03/discovery-gateway.html
Kevin, Heidi, and Sophia. Friday, March 19, 2010. We met up with Cody, Audrey, and Wyatt in Salt Lake, and took the kiddos to Discovery Gateway, which is amazing! I wish we lived closer, because I would take Sophia there all the time. The membership cost is a little too pricey for me because I don't make it to Salt Lake very often. That looks way fun. I wish they had something like that close by here, my kids would absolutely love it. Btw, Sophia has the cutest hair. March 19, 2010 at 11:40 PM.

Kevin, Heidi, and Sophia: SUMMER
http://heidi-frasier.blogspot.com/2010/07/summer.html
Kevin, Heidi, and Sophia. Thursday, July 29, 2010. I have done it again. Waited too long between posts. We have had a VERY busy Summer. It has been really nice to spend so much time with each other, and take a break from life. I feel very lucky because there are a lot of people who don't get to spend as much time with their loved ones. We have been to Lagoon twice, Zion's National Park, the Symphony, fireworks, the farmers market, and we go swimming pretty much every day. View my complete profile.

Kevin, Heidi, and Sophia: Celebrating New Life
http://heidi-frasier.blogspot.com/2010/04/celebrating-new-life.html
Kevin, Heidi, and Sophia. Wednesday, April 14, 2010. I found a children's book at the Library that was about the origins of Easter. It was so nice and refreshing to see something about a Holiday that didn't focus on religion or presents. I didn't realize that the tradition of coloring eggs comes from the celebration of life, women, and their eggs. Kevin and I aren't religious, and we want Sophia to be openminded, so I really loved that this book was celebrating all forms of life from many perspectives.

Kevin, Heidi, and Sophia: Three Day Weekend!
http://heidi-frasier.blogspot.com/2010/07/three-day-weekend.html
Kevin, Heidi, and Sophia. Thursday, July 29, 2010. Kevin and I had a 3 day weekend for the 24th of July, so we tried to take full advantage of our last hurrah before we have to go back to school. We stayed with Brian and Julie, Kevin's brother and sister-in-law), in Toquerville. For those of you who don't know, Toquerville is a quaint little town 30 minutes away from Zion's National Park.
