Had a call from the Landlord who owns next door last night. Just before I was heading out for Gaming. He said that his tenants had noticed that their front toilet wasn't. Draining properly and he wanted to know if I had noticed anything. Can't say I had, but then 1) I've been in America for the last 2 weeks &. Uh-huh. Looks like a blockage to me.

A bit belated now (as my trip was at the start of April)- but I'm going to throw my thoughts down regardless. When you tell people that you are off to Sudan- or even to dive Sudan- you get some very concerned looks. Won't there be pirates? People seem to get Sudan confused with Somalia. Sudan lies to the south of Egypt. But it's certainly not 'unsafe'.

Sunday was my first Coast Dive of the year (all others have been in the quarry). Hideously early start; up at 4am. Had to be in Stonehouse (outskirts of Stroud) before 5am to pick up Neil. Then the drive down to Swanage (Dorset). Thankfully it was an excellent journey down; the 2 and 3/4hr drive from Stonehouse turned into just over 2hrs. Turned up in the fog.
