Siobhan Gap Year: 6/22/08 - 6/29/08
http://siobhangapyear.blogspot.com/2008_06_22_archive.html
Saturday, June 28, 2008. The morning after the Franz Josef climb every muscle in my body was aching, it was hard to walk, but I am still so glad that I did it. Rachel and I got up early and took the bus to Wanaka where she was due to start work at a ski resort in a few days and I was going to travel on my own again. Being prepared I packed a flask of hot water and made us cups of coffee by the roadside when the bus stopped for photo breaks! Nothing like a nice cup of coffee! Dunedin is the south islands s...

http://sheilaabroad.blogspot.com/2008/04/there-are-some-things-in-life-that.html
Thursday, 10 April 2008. All packed and ready to come back to the UK. There are some things in life that really bother me and others that just don't! When my team presented me today with a framed photo of them all I was touched beyond belief! It was the one on my last blog and means so much to me of who they all are! I am blessed with my friends and my family! They make tough times seem like a walk in the park! Life has a funny way of getting it right when you least expect it too. View my complete profile.

WARNING: May Contain Football: August 2009
http://maycontainfootball.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 August 2009. Cola Sponsored English League 2. 3 - 0 Bury. Consider if you will two boys. One slightly older than the other. They grew up just down the road from one another. They went to similar schools. They had the same friends and played the same games. In most respects there really was no difference between them. Funny what you think about on your way up Roch Valley Way isn't it? Mind you, coming up with massively over elaborate analogies for Rochdale. Driving of my fellow road users.

Carmel in Oz: Bushwalking with Mr Dan Smith and other potterings
http://carmelinoz.blogspot.com/2008/03/bushwalking-with-mr-dan-smith-and-other.html
Girl in the Emerald City. Saturday, 22 March 2008. Bushwalking with Mr Dan Smith and other potterings. Well it seems my declaration last week that it was the 'end of summer' has been taken up as a challenge by those in charge of the weather, as we've had gloriously sunny days, blue skies and calm warm sea since then - hurrah! Mooching with Christina on Bronte Beach. To stay a few days. I sat opposite Dan for about four years (I think? Dusted them down and prepared for some proper bushwalking. It's an inc...

Siobhan Gap Year: SUNSET WAYA RESORT&WALU BEACH RESORT
http://siobhangapyear.blogspot.com/2008/09/waya-island-sunset-waya-resort.html
Wednesday, September 10, 2008. SUNSET WAYA RESORT&WALU BEACH RESORT. I left Melbravo and got the big yellow boat to my next island. Waya island was two hours further south. It was nice getting on the boat because I met up again with people that had stayed at Melbravo during my time there. I took the little transfer boat from the yellow boat to Sunset Waya. As I approached there were locals on the beach singing to welcome the newcomers to the island. It was great fun watching the locals trying to cross it...

Sheilaabroad: Just look at where I am now!
http://sheilaabroad.blogspot.com/2008/01/just-look-at-where-i-am-now.html
Tuesday, 15 January 2008. Just look at where I am now! Ok here goes my attempt to give you an up date of my life in Canada! Really busy season with a large team of mostly new reps and hundreds of guests to look after. A beautifull place with really good people and some fascinating things to do. Excellent snow conditions and as usual well looked after by our suppliers. We start the season with what are known as FAMS familiarisation of the events we offer our guests. We have local friends too :-). Just loo...

Sheilaabroad: June 2007
http://sheilaabroad.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 5 June 2007. In Italy on Lake Garda living in Sirmione with our office based in Desenzano. Taking some settling in to my new role as reps manager for Italy as the job has not been defined and I seem to get everything that no one else wants to do. My plan then for the next couple of days is to plan my job and work as it has been crisis management so far and that just gets too stressful. That will do for my first blog will add to it later, but just wanted to get started. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Carmel in Oz: Movies movies and more movies
http://carmelinoz.blogspot.com/2009/03/movies-movies-and-more-movies.html
Girl in the Emerald City. Monday, 2 March 2009. Movies movies and more movies. I'm starting to realise that films really dominate my life, from watching them to making them, to watching other people make them, to watching people win awards for them, to flying interstate to see them, to blogging about them, to tweeting about them: all I seem to think about is movies. Watching the Oscars with my team. Shall I cycle to work or get the bus today? And Is there more to life than film? To (yes, you guessed it!

Carmel in Oz: Princesses!
http://carmelinoz.blogspot.com/2008/04/princesses.html
Girl in the Emerald City. Saturday, 5 April 2008. As well as my funky Bondi hospitality, with barbecues, clifftop walks and body surfing in Bronte, we ventured together to Western Sydney, to visit some of Noreen's extended family and sample some traditional Hazara food. It was lovely to see Noreen's mum again, and her cousins were dead cute. Check out some pics on flickr. With Jana on Bronte beach. Dinner with Noreen's family. Noreen tucks into breakfast in Jed's. Hanging out with Noreen at Matt's house.

Carmel in Oz: Welcome to fabulous Brisvegas, Queensland
http://carmelinoz.blogspot.com/2010/07/welcome-to-fabulous-brisvegas.html
Girl in the Emerald City. Wednesday, 7 July 2010. Welcome to fabulous Brisvegas, Queensland. Brisbane is about an hour's flight north of Sydney, in slightly warmer climes, and is quite a modern city built on a river. I spent most of my time there on the South Bank, which was the arts district, but was creepily similar to London's South Bank, with its concrete brutalist square architecture and a wheel that seemed a copy of the London Eye. South Bank: London or Brisbane? Two very little old ladies. It's ta...
