To make a great journey. You take one step at a time. And that’s the way we live. In the heart of the storm. We chase the eye. We don’t think about tomorrow. Because we can sleep tonight. And when it hits. No faith can protect us from the rising tide. And if you could be God for a day. In a flash of light?

52% intelligent. 9% modest. More monkey than bear. Tuesday, 28 July 2015. Fairly early on into my training course for my PADI Open Water diving qualification, I was introduced to the two golden rules that all scuba divers must live by:. 1) Never, ever hold your breath. 2) Always look cool. But you have to admire the chutzpah that sees them attempt to style out their bulging lycra in the face of all taste or good judgement. Honestly. People, eh? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 52% intelligent. 9% modest. More monkey than bear. Tuesday, 4 August 2015. Win yourself a cheap tray. The view from the castle. The salad I had for my lunch today had a lovely sticker on it proclaiming “Tastes of the British Isles”. This prompted me to wonder if the UK really did taste of beetroot, lentil and goat’s cheese. After some thought, I decided that I thought that it maybe tasted a bit of beetroot. So that's £3, yeah? One of Tony's excellent pictures from the weekend. A fantastic few days in gre...

Hip Hop Connection magazine has always been the more sensible monthly rap mag but when it's mainstream competition is The Source it's not that hard. 50 The Sindecut - Changing The Scenery [1990] An album I need to listen to again as the only thing I remember is 'Live the Life' - I have it on vinyl somewhere. Time to dust off the SL1210. 43 Stereo MC's - 33-45-78 [1989] From well before chart success this album spawned the wonderful 'What Is Soul? 20 Hustlers Convention - Various [1989]. 10 Mark B and Bla...

I've never met someone who admitted to liking Kasabian. They've got fans - someone is buying their music. Who are they? I spent the day listening to their first album. Quite enjoyed it. Mid life crisis rumbles on. Dumb and Dumber To. A pointless mess of a film that comes far to late after to first to ride its wave and with no real comedy in it to create a belly laugh. An embarrassment to all involved. Lastly we watched St. Vincent. I'll start with the negatives - it was soppy, predictable and cli...Perha...
