My mother always says that the sound of the jars popping, singing out their seal is like music to her ears and i always thought she was a little crazy. then i became a little crazy. hearing that metallic pop is a most definite congratulations for a job done properly. all the effort of slicing, dicing, mincing, crushing and packing will be rewarded and preserved for 6-12 months. 2 1/2 cups strawberries, washed and crushed. 1 1/2 cups port.
