Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Pioneer Reenactment aka Trek 2014. This post is dedication to the journey and experience of Trek. This pioneer reenactment took place in Wyoming, USA! We traveled and walked many hours and it was an experience I will never forget! Some may ask why we would take off work, send our kids to stay with family and spend "that kind of money" to walk around in Wyoming? McDowell Family: Field Trip Day 2

http://www.mcdowellfamily07.blogspot.com/2014/05/field-trip-day-2.html

Monday, May 12, 2014. Field Trip Day 2. It was a pretty early morning. Most kids were up by 6:30/7am. After breakfast we had about an hour to kill before the bus came. So a few of the parents took the kids to a local park. We loaded up and headed back to CSI and the Herrit Center. We watched another movie in the planetarium. It was about a. After the movie we went upstairs to look at the sun! We looked through 2 telescopes. It was pretty cool. We also got to look at Venus through a huge telescope! Here w...

McDowell Family: May 2013

http://www.mcdowellfamily07.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 28, 2013. This year for Memorial Day weekend we headed to Cascade with our friends for a fun weekend at their cabin. There were 6 adults and 7 kids. We headed up Friday and come home on Monday. Here are some pictures from this weekend. Saturday Morning they decided to find pine cones and throw them off the deck. I think Kirk was trying to hit the flag pole! Madison found some big ones. She brought them home so she could make bird feeders. Here are the 3 toddler amigos! Monday, May 20, 2013.

McDowell Family: October 2013

Tuesday, October 29, 2013. The great pumpkin carving of 2013. This past weekend we carved pumpkins. We each had one this year. We just usually let the kids do it, but this year we got all of our pumpkins free! Let the carving begin! Travis started on Zachary's first. And this was her reaction! She has never been a fan. But this year she did it all! This apparently was his favorite part! Zach chose a cyclopes with toothpick teeth! Travis attempted an Oregon 'O' not bad for a first attempt! We took the kid...

Meet the Bishops: A Better Day

http://kambri.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-better-day.html

Tuesday, January 06, 2015. Yes, today was a better day. Much better, in fact. Here are things I did that made it feel like a better day:. It was a good day, and I didn't have too much of a priority panic attack, but tried to focus on being okay just accomplishing what I was doing at the moment. Baby steps. :). Let's set some reachable expectations, right? I know, the suspense is building. Okay I want to try my hardest to practice love in everything I do. Why do I want to read the scriptures each day?

Meet the Bishops: May 2014

http://kambri.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 28, 2014. I think of you every. single. day. Probably every. single. hour, actually. I put your picture on our fridge, and I talk to you sometimes when I'm getting a drink or something to eat. Every now and then, I stop what I'm doing to remember your voice in my head - especially to remember your laugh, and your thoughtful way of saying "hmmmm." when you have a deep thought that's hard to express tactfully. But in my mind, I can hear you rehashing the story, telling us all how freaky it w...

Meet the Bishops: I miss my brother.

http://kambri.blogspot.com/2014/11/i-miss-my-brother.html

Wednesday, November 12, 2014. I miss my brother. It was a very cold day today. In fact, the kids in Blackfoot didn't even have school because of the cold. And even here, my kids didn't have to go out to recess. I keep thinking of last year on this day…. The sun was shining, the leaves were changing, but not gone, and the day was absolutely beautiful, especially for the middle of November. I wore a short sleeve blue maternity shirt – the same color blue as your Chevy Cavalier that you loved. And this morn...

Meet the Bishops: September 2014

http://kambri.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Friday, September 19, 2014. I sat outside with Natalie and Camille for a while yesterday. Natalie made me a "chocolate pie" (made with rose petals, leaves, and rocks). She set it by the front door, and told me it's okay to leave it there because no one will want to eat it because it is rocks. :-). Camillie took her first ride in the swing that the kids tied to the Maple tree in our front yard. She loved it, even though it is set at an angle and swings crooked. Just some random pics and writing. Once upon...

He had a blast and even got in the water and everything.but of course mom forgot the camera :( Came home and opened presents and did cake. Jeremy made his cake this year and I have to admit.it was kind of nice not having to do it. Playing with his new car race mat! July 28, 2013 at 4:34 PM. Cant believe he is 3 already, he is getting sooo big! Way to be Jeremy on the cake, I am impressed! I know its crazy!

Thorne Family: July 2014

http://tanaandnathan.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, July 22, 2014. For the 7th year in a row we were able to attend the NHRA Drag Races! Tana with Pro Stock driver Allen Johnson. Tana with Top Fuel Drag Racer Antron Brown. Tana and Nathan with Top Fuel Drag Racer Jenna Haddock. This was Jenna's first debut so we were rooting for her. After the races they sent 2 jet cars out to race. They have jet engines in them so it was just like a jet flying by. It was AMAZING! I promise you this was all her. We did not coax her to cheer. Tuesday, July 15, 2014.

Westover: Girl's camp fireside

Monday, September 24, 2012. I encouraged her to play the simplified version if it would make it easier on her, but she insisted on playing the regular more difficult hymns out of the hymnbook. We were pretty proud of her! I've been pretty busy with my scrapbooking. Here are a few:. And finally, here is our last week! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). David and Lindsay Marchant. Thursday, August 16, 2012. Millar Mission Impossible Reunion. This year's Millar family reunion theme was Mission Impossible. Before arriving to the reunion (held at the Running Y Ranch in Klamath Falls Oregon) the kids had to solve a special riddle and assign themselves special agent names. The girls spent a family home evening deciding on their name and solving the riddle. Once we arrived at the reunion, we were greeted to this sign: (My mom is so darn clever! More is to come as I get it scrapbooked!
