Saturday, January 10, 2009. The Sunday after Christmas, we had a dedication service for Maggie with our house church. We met at Phil and Joanie's and most of the meeting was praying for Maggie, us as parents, and the community. Monday, April 21, 2008. Here is the first sonogram, from about 3 weeks ago (week 9). Baby is about 2 cm long and we could see "cardiac activity" (i.e. the still developing heart beating). The McDowell Family Adoption Journey. Sunday, January 15, 2012. D-Day (as in "departure") Jan. 10, 2011. Days 1 and 2. We have been in Lithuania for a few days already, but I am just now starting to catch up on the blog. We have posted many times on Facebook, so I am going to go back to the beginning and catch up the blog day-by-day. Nothing makes you think of a nice refreshing Coke like a statue of a naked boy peeing! Now is was back to the apartment for some dinner and a pillow! We leave in 13 days!
