Cellar Door: like water for chocolate
http://volaresiren.blogspot.com/2012/10/like-water-for-chocolate.html
Like water for chocolate. Just irresponsibly finished "like water for chocolate." I love Spanish writers who twist a little bit of mysticism in their stories. Esquivel. Also used so many recipes that it made my heart hurt for home and the foods that are just as good as the feeling you get when your mommy wipes away your tears. Making Christmas candy and Texas Trash means waking up at the butt crack of dawn and heading to Grammy's. Cold outside. I can always rely on Christmas to bring me boogers. We made ...

Cellar Door: ...it lasts longer
http://volaresiren.blogspot.com/2012/10/it-lasts-longer.html
Maybe she stood in pictures like that because she was unhappy. She lost her mother when she was six. She was raised by her Uncle because her father suffered from Parkinson's. She married a man she loved only to find him to be an alcoholic. She lost everything she had.twice. I think her life did not turned out as she imagined it would have, but that did not matter to her. In all of her grief, she found hope. Grammy still loved beyond measure, and she loved you the way you needed to be loved.

occasionally consistent: things i should be doing right now
http://occasionallyconsistent.blogspot.com/2008/04/things-i-should-be-doing-right-now.html
I think maybe heaven is a sea of untranslatable jokes, only everyone is laughing. Monday, April 14, 2008. Things i should be doing right now. 1 finding a greek monologue for period styles tomorrow. 2 cleaning my crap-hole apartment. 3 taking a shower. 4 managing my time. Oh well. sometimes i sit down to write a blog post and have so very many thoughts that i want to express but can't be translated into conherent sentences. its frustrating. so i make lists instead. I make tons of lists all the time too!

I think maybe heaven is a sea of untranslatable jokes, only everyone is laughing. Monday, April 21, 2008. Beartrail of tears: the sequel. or, "i'm fine in my tshirt, thanks". See, it doesn't matter what time of day or night i choose to run - i somehow manage to be running at the same time as the sorority girls. you know, those kappa-beta-gamma-theta-omega-iota-something-or-others who think it is socially acceptable to run wearing nothing but a sports bra and these shorts:. occasionally consistent: if you're sleeping, are you dreaming? if you're dreaming, are you dreaming of me?
http://occasionallyconsistent.blogspot.com/2008/04/if-youre-sleeping-are-you-dreaming-if.html
I think maybe heaven is a sea of untranslatable jokes, only everyone is laughing. Wednesday, April 2, 2008. If you're sleeping, are you dreaming? If you're dreaming, are you dreaming of me? So many parts of my body are begging me to go to sleep but for some reason i'm jittery and wide awake. I should probably stop doing so many drugs before bed.*. And i have a lot i should get done.i should use this bit of insomnia to be productive, right? So guess what i'm doing. I don't actually do drugs.

Baylor Green Room: Tech Weekend
http://baylorgreenroom.blogspot.com/2010/09/tech-weekend.html
So, going into tech weekend/week of opening, the cast and crew of Gypsy thought that they would see what would happen if their lead couldn't perform. Hence the Great Appendicitis Scare of '010. After being rushed to the ER, the butt of the cow took over as the highest paid stripper in the business, while the original Gypsy dealt with her cyst in a hospital bed?
