http://www.theskistory.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 5, 2012. Grr I don't feel like I can post these on any other social outlet besides this blog solely because I don't want any one "offender" to think it's specifically referring to them. I've tried waiting around until one of the many "offenders" didn't post anything but guess what.that never happened! Pyramid Schemes a.k.a. Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) products and their pushers. HOLY CRAP! I am so tired of hearing about all of your ENERGY! It all over again but under a new cool name! Becau...

Thursday, November 24, 2011. There's a lot of thanks going around these days, which is great but wouldn't it be cool if people did the thankful statuses every day of the year? On this date I am a mere twenty days away from the 12 year anniversary of my open heart surgery and I am so ridiculously thankful to be alive with a strong, healthy heart. Because without my health ...The A...

The Ski Story: September 2011
http://www.theskistory.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 14, 2011. An inadvertent educational experience. I was behind a school bus the other morning on the way to work; I live fairly close to a few schools so I know that the bus was almost full. As I slow down to a stop to honor the little flashing stop sign that swings out when the bus stops to pick up/drop off children my attention is drawn to the cow field to my left. Oh, the lessons you learn on the way to school. It somewhat reminded me of this scene from Napoleon Dynamite. An inadve...

Friday, January 4, 2013. Oh, Friday Fragments, how I've missed you! If like me you need some fragments in your week head on over to Mrs. 4444's home (not her literal home, of course, her internet home) and check it out! I bought five jugs of milk the other day. As I was putting them away Mr. Ski walks in and as he curiously watches me put them in order of expiration and file some away in the freezer he tentatively asks."Is there something you know that I don't? My mom knits so I just assumed. Car a littl...

The Ski Story: Just keep swimming.
http://www.theskistory.com/2013/01/just-keep-swimming.html
Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Mr Ski and I went to the gym tonight, suprisingly it wasn't as busy as I expected it to be. We had both chosen activities that would keep us away from the ellipticals and weights as we thought that was where most of the "I'm losing weight" resolution-ers would be. He went to an Intro to Tai Chi and Tai Chi course while I decided to swim some laps. Of course, I toot my own horn.this is a blog, isn't that the general purpose? It felt good to swim, I think I'll do it again. No, I...

http://www.theskistory.com/2013/01/2013.html
Tuesday, January 1, 2013. I don't do resolutions. But tonight as I responded "you too" to the cashier at the theater when she told me to "enjoy my movie." I realized how unauthentic I had become when communicating with strangers. So how am I today? Today has been a day full of some of my favorite things:. Eating husband prepared homemade breakfast. Watching The Nanny (I LOVE Fran Drescher! Cleaning (not a favorite thing but necessary). Seeing Les Miserables with my love. Great day, indeed!

What i never new i always wanted. Embracing the adventures of new mommyhood. Friday, June 26, 2009. We humans strive so hard for what we want. We toil our lives away, countless hours striving for our dreams. I've come to realize I do not know what I want and should stop trying to figure it out. This methodology sounds a little off.stay with me.All too often we achieve what we've worked so hard for only to find it leaves us wanting. Imaginable. Its certainly not what I would choose.or is it?
