The team received a call late last night to say that it is looking like we can go on Monday morning…. so 9am meet at the harbour and then start swimming between 10am and 11am. Final team meeting at 11am today and then we head off to Dover (as long as we do not get a call to cancel in the meantime). You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0.

So the team are now back training at Mundesley beach every morning at 10am just to try and keep the shoulders loose and body acclimatised to the sea conditions. The team have been back in the sea over the past week trying to keep in training, but not do too much in case we get called up for a swim slot. It transpires that we swam just over 90 miles on our epic journey. We started at 10.10 pm on Wednesday 11th August and finished 5.18 am on Friday 13th (lucky for us).
