We're now situated on 10east in a beautiful room (you know you're at the hospital too much when you describe the rooms as beautiful lol) which overlooks part of the Boston skyline. Behind those buildings in the front is the Prudential building. It's really nice to have a view for a change! It makes such a big difference having such nice natural lighting. Our Little G.E.M. and M&M. Wednesday, January 5, 2011. We received some very good news today! We went in for our follow up fetal echo at Children's, which went very well! We'll have another follow up echo in four to six weeks to make sure everything has stayed the same! Keep those prayers coming! We finally wrapped up down in Boston around 4pm and were on our way home. Didn't even hit much traffic which was very nice! The doctor at BWH wants to tentatively schedule our Csection for March 31.that puts...

Our Little G.E.M. and M&M. Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Just a quick little update on our little GEM. She's doing really good! On to some other big news.we got moved up to the floor! She is now out of the NICU and in her own private room! I think she is really enjoying the peace and quiet.no more alarms constantly going off, people talking, and other babies crying! It's yet another transition period in her journey to her recovery! We are able to dress her up in cute little dresses, hats, bows and socks!

Our Little G.E.M. and M&M. Sunday, September 4, 2011. It feels really crazy saying that we've been here for 28days. At times it feels as if it's flown and at times it feels like we've been here for much longer. I think we'll be here for a little while longer. Our Little G.E.M. and M&M. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Sorry it's been so long since I've last updated! So this is our tenth week! As I'm sure you all are well aware of now, since my last post we have final closure! She is doing just beautifully and her belly is just wonderful! Our Little G.E.M. and M&M. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. It's been awhile since I've updated, so here I am! The big news is that she has her surgery scheduled for next week! As for the recovery time, I really don't know and I don't think they do either. It's really going to depend on how she does eating etc. I'm guessing it will be several more weeks after next week. She continues to work with physical therapy a few times a week to develop and strengthen her muscles. We had a nice visit from Auntie Lindsa...

Our Little G.E.M. and M&M. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. 32 week visit with Boston. Can't believe we're already at 32 weeks and 4 days.but who's counting? We had our visit today with both Children's Hospital and The Brigham which went very very well! After doing the best they could do the cardiologist came in and told us that from what he could see everything structurally and mechanically with the heart looked good!
