Welcome to the Edinburgh palaeomagnetic group. At the University of Edinburgh. This research group is based in the School of Geosciences at the University of Edinburgh. One of our main research aims are to investigate the question of low latitude glaciations in the Neoproterozoic (the Snowball Earth Hypothesis), as well as general questions of palaeogeography, apparent polar wander paths, the Earths Geomagnetic field and how it is recorded in the rocks.
