One year ago tomorrow, a film came out into wide release in the United States that, even then, I cringed at. The film was No Reservations. Starring Aaron Eckhart (late of The Dark Knight. The reason I cringed then was because I knew, as few of my contemporaries did, that this film was based on a German film from 2002 called Bella Martha. August 4, 2010. The dog we rescued on our trip to Amherst has been adopted! I wish a long lifetime of happiness. In her new forever home! So, what else is new? I started sending my novel out today. And now the waiting game begins. I'm trying to restrain myself from obsessively checking my email for responses, but it's kinda impossible. I plan to jump into my next project tomorrow to keep busy. Now, before you think I'm all whiny, let me explain that I have been through many fire drills in previous buildings. None of them were like this.
