Basically the definition of no rules, bandit style mountain biking. I had heard the day before the race, that spectators would be encouraged to throw waffles at racers who were taking it too seriously. The first cross race of the NCCX series was held at Veterans Park Saturday and my anticipation for this race was at maximum overcharge! Since cross racing’s popularity is at a supreme high right now, there was more than a great turnout. Almost twice as many people showed up compared to last Januaries race. I would suggest you should be somewhat quick on your bike before you try to race at all. Beginner riders.

Last week a friend and I witnessed one squirrel throw a right hook and knock another squirrel out while they were both eating from our wild bird feeder. Are we letting this get out of hand, or should we continue to let the chickens have free range and keep the wild bird feeders full just for the pure value of wild entertainment in our own backyard? OH MY GOD, I’d jump their bones any day…Only I wouldn’t, because I’m taken, but if I wasn’t, let me tell you! Whoooh. But anyways, if you haven’t seen one, see one! You’ll have to read subtitles but at least watch one episode. They have all types of genre, from sci-fi to romance to comedy and serious. All you can eat. A unity of acrylic.

So far, although plenty of the local bars (The Thirsty Pig, Toot 'n Whistle etc) are playing music, the most recent thing I have heard so far is the original version of Hard Days Night! Also the addiction to phonetic spelling appears to have been taken to extremes - I don't suppose Phoebe Archer (currently at Oxford) has her tutors spelling her name 'Feebee'.
