Perpetual State of Transition

Perpetual State of Transition. Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Well, fall fell as usual, but I was secretly hoping it would get lost and never show up. I haven't written lately because we seem to always be so busy. I can only imagine how busy this time of year was for you. Preparation for winter has changed quite a bit over the years. Were you busy canning, drying, and curing this time of year? That's what I wish we were doing, but the blow dryer of summer made gardening really difficult. Links to this post.

Perpetual State of Transition

http://perpetualstateoftransition.blogspot.com/2011/09/another-week-has-flown-by-as-aftermath.html

Perpetual State of Transition. Thursday, September 22, 2011. Even when blessed with more good news we come home exhausted. The twelve hour drive coupled with fresh sadness at leaving friends we love behind is a drain. Another deep breath, and time to laugh. I figure you all need a good laugh too, so I'll share my embarrassing, and frustrating Wednesday morning. Let's go, let's go! Me, trying not to unravel too far. Someone's coming in the driveway! Black SUV is pulling in the driveway, and why Oh why.

Perpetual State of Transition: It's...elemental...

http://perpetualstateoftransition.blogspot.com/2011/09/itselemental.html

Perpetual State of Transition. Thursday, September 1, 2011. The more nuts life seems to be, the more I get into a rut of self condemnation. I hate the feeling of not getting things done, and not doing all things I need to do as well as I would like. Something is always suffering. For me, it helps if I can just get back to basics. What am I doing every day? Start at the core, then work out. Ahhhhh. I'm seeing it now. Folks didn't circle the wagons just for fun. Protecting your center is important. This is...

Perpetual State of Transition: Dear Lizzie... (16)

http://perpetualstateoftransition.blogspot.com/2011/08/dear-lizzie-16.html

Perpetual State of Transition. Monday, August 29, 2011. Dear Lizzie. (16). The best thing that has happened since we moved in? Having a birthday party here. My youngest two both have August birthdays. Just having a gathering here again, with kids and games and sugar - it was so much fun. The house hasn't had a fun gathering in a really long time. There is a bustle here again. The curve of the circle that the events of life trace, it keeps flowing on. I know you are gone, but you live on here, wit...I thi...

Perpetual State of Transition: Smiles in HIndsight

http://perpetualstateoftransition.blogspot.com/2011/09/smiles-in-hindsight.html

Perpetual State of Transition. Friday, September 16, 2011. Here they are. hiding up inside all the turmoil and stress, bad days, and lectures to self. The things that make you smile. Not smile at the time, but smile later, when they hit you out of the blue. You remember them, remember that you didn't give them enough time at the time. Bye I love you.". Bye Love you too.". Love you too, mom.". Her little voice takes me off guard - she has said it in her sleep! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Check Out...

Perpetual State of Transition: What One Ponders on Tuesday Nights...

http://perpetualstateoftransition.blogspot.com/2011/10/what-one-ponders-on-tuesday-nights.html

Perpetual State of Transition. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. What One Ponders on Tuesday Nights. You have in control? I ask this in a teasing voice, giving her a hard time. Her issues are serious, deep, and could be overwhelming if you let them. My jesting is always to bring just a bit of levity - to help us both. I kiss all the kids good night. It's the only thing I seem to do consistently in OCD fashion. I suppose I think this ritual will ward off all those unwelcome things the night can bring. I was amuse...

Living Life in the HOV Lane. Things that make me go huh? On Dec 8th, 2011 in musings. It’s not like there had been Christmas choir rehearsals in heaven – this was not part of the opening ceremonies for God’s arrival on planet Earth. It was a supernatural flash mob! The angels were blown away by what God had done. By what He had become. How do you amaze an angel? Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. In the town of David. It is the CHRIST! FALL ON YOUR KNEES!

Is it like pulling taffy, or rolling out dough? Not your average rambling - I'm a cancer survivor, tbi mom, and live a crazy life! Can you really eat low fat and have fast food? So we'll call this day two of my low fat eating adventure. I met my daughter at the local "fast food" joint for lunch. Yes. You too can eat low fat and still be satisfied. The sour cream they give is already a low fat version! I know, I know you are thinking - eww. Truthfully though - it was good and I didn't miss the margarine or the full fat dressing. Blogging keeps me sane!

A Perpetual State of Autumn. The musings of one Thomas Ham, the would be great outdoorsman. Reflections and journeys taken on the quest for a life well lived. Monday, August 10, 2015. Current Events, in my opinion. Perpetual State of Flux. When I started blogging again a few months back, I decided to resurrect the name of my decade old blog with the hope of reposting some of my favorite posts. Reading this beautiful post. From Mamalina reminded me of a post I first wrote on 10.13.2005 about my grandma Bette. In light of this post and Mother’s Day, I’m reposting that entry here today.
