Velvet Acid Christ - Apflux. You know it's summer in Winipeg when. As most of you in Winnipeg know, our skies can sometimes be ominously threatening, and some of the storms we have in the summer time are insane. You know summer has arrived here when you see a sky like this. So last night, we had some pretty crazy weather, and today we even had a Tornado Watch, and a funnel cloud was seen in St- Andrews.i love when the sky gets creative and leaves us with this. I just love the orange colors in this one.

Way behind again - Shes actual size. 05 February 2015 @ 07:47 pm. Oh goodness - almost a week already. Where has the time gone? Not too much has happened, but I have continued with the photos. Now you can share the non-excitement. On Friday we went for Korean. I got bi-bim-bap, shown here. Got some spicy chili rice cake stew. They were both good, as usual. On Sunday I made pizza in our new Lagostina cast iron pizza pan. I am still perfecting the technique of using this particular pan.

He knew we were going someplace, but was in the dark about where we were going until I got the car on the highway headed to our destination. Really. Having a portable camera (ie, my phone) in my purse all the time makes it easy to take impromptu shots of things. I am forgetting to post the photos, though. A coworker brought in a bunch of popup books to show around. This was one of them. The leaves had mini leaves had hidden bits. And on Friday I decided I deserved beer. (That Weihenstaphaner is a very nice hefeweissen.).
