The Wind and Waves. An ongoing exploration of the Washington Coast and a resort town called Ocean Shores. Saturday, August 8, 2015. Just a little 'Body and Soul'. This Saturday, since August drizzle kept me away from a beach walk, Lisa and I decided to check out the 'Body and Soul' Festival. I have never been to a psychic fair before, so this was a whole new experience for both of us! A little alchemy for the Star Child. I could say quite a bit about what I have heard about people who are interested in t...

Quilting is an amazing precision art form that I will always appreciate. Those sweet birds were added with an embroidery machine. And here is the Mr. drooling over a newer model of embroidery machine. Those fish were 3-D.very cute! I just loved the colors of this one - the brights paired with the grey was delicious.

The Wind and Waves. An ongoing exploration of the Washington Coast and a resort town called Ocean Shores. Saturday, July 11, 2015. Chuck has been hard at work creating some great additions to our living space. First up: a side table for the deck that drops down when not needed. The rail and ladder are left, and they are in the works. I am so grateful for Chuck and his ability and motivation to create awesome additions. To our dream home! Posted by Hendel D'bu. The Wind and Waves. An ongoing exploration of the Washington Coast and a resort town called Ocean Shores. Saturday, July 11, 2015. This is not the first time we have rescued a baby gull. The first time they were crying in the gutter - who cannot answer the cry of a baby? Well, after Chuck gave me a heart-attack climbing up the ladder to get the fallen youngling out of the gutter and back onto the roof, all three of the babies looked at him, then jumped back into the gutter! The Wind and Waves. An ongoing exploration of the Washington Coast and a resort town called Ocean Shores. Monday, June 29, 2015. This was a must-add for our garden, found just outside of The Dalles, Oregon, at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center. This is the legend that the elder told Lillian about She Who Watches, and the story that Lillian now tells:. There was this village on the Washington side of the Columbia Gorge. And now she watches over our garden. Posted by Hendel D'bu. Labels: in the garden.

The Wind and Waves. An ongoing exploration of the Washington Coast and a resort town called Ocean Shores. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. I love seagulls, especially the iconic Western Gull.
