It's the combination of cold, grey weather, post holiday calm and the excitement of a new year. I find I want a little more comfort and energy at this time of the year than at any other. 1 cup coconut oil. 2 tsp stevia leaf powder. 1/4 cup soy milk powder. 2 cups nuts or dried fruit.

Start by combining 2 parts stevia leaf powder with 1 part mustard powder and 1/2 part black pepper. You can adjust to suit your taste. It should be quite sweet. Make sure you use pure mustard powder as some contain other ingredients. Stir well and adjust to suit your taste. Use with as you would salt and pepper in cooking. You can dress vegetables with this for roasting or stir frying.

Pesto Risotto with Beans and Baked Squash. 4 cups cooked brown rice. 2 tsp organic canola oil. 1 tsp stevia seasoning ( equal amounts of stevia leaf powder, pepper and mustard powder, mixed). Juice of 1/2 lemon. 1 c Tomato Vegetable Soup. 1/2 cup cashew cheese. 1-2 cup kindey beans or adzuiki or chick peas. Fresh herbs, chopped ( parsley, chevril, thyme, etc).
