Evidence Based Methods in Education. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Monthly Archives: November 2013. Week 9: SCC and Timings Chart. Above are my daily timings chart and Standard Celeration Chart. Unfortunately I did not achieve the AIM of 80 cards a minute but the progress did improve after introducing the error correction. Any suggestions on maintaining or decreasing the amount of learning opportunities would be extremely helpful. November 26, 2013. Week 8: SCC and Timings Chart.

https://psue73.wordpress.com/2013/12/03/week-10

Evidence Based Methods in Education. Skip to primary content. Week 10: Timings Chart &SCC Chart. December 3, 2013. This week I continued to work through my pack 5 SAFMEDS, 3 times a week for one minute a time (3×1) as shown in the Daily Timings Chart. Through out the week, my performance has shown a slight increase in the number of correct cards. My learning opportunities were quite high, but as the week progressed and I leaned the content of the pack, my Learning Errors soon decreased.

PLP-3003 Evidence Based Behavioural Methods in Education. Skip to primary content. SCC AND TIMINGS CHART FOR WEEK 9. November 26, 2013. The plan for this week is to add week 9 Topics in IDD lecture to the pack to ensure that I have enough amount of cards, and keep the same format that I am on now. However, if someone can suggest something that may be better for me or make me reach my goal further I would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Sioned. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

PLP-3003 Evidence Based Behavioural Methods in Education. Skip to primary content. SCC AND TIMINGS CHART FOR WEEK 7. November 12, 2013. Due to having a Mid-Term exam this week for this module, I have not yet started on week 5’s lecture content, and therefore will join this weeks (week 7) content to it, as was planned. I’ve decided to this because I have not got enough content from week 5’s lecture and also, there was no lecture last week which means even less content. November 13, 2013 at 9:36 pm.

December 18, 2013 · 12:47 am. Motivation theory applied to Blogging. Indeed, the self-determination theory proposes that autonomy influences levels of intrinsic motivation. When individuals perceive their behaviour as self-directed and self-determined, they are more likely to cherish the behaviour regardless of its consequences (DeCharms, 1968). Just another WordPress.com site. March 25, 2014. Mercedes Benz. Best Ad overall? This ad is very well done. It is genuinely one of the best ones I’ve seen so far. We see a little boy who sneaks out of his house on a mission. Walking through the city in the dead of night with nothing but a backpack, map, flashlight and his teddybear. Immediately the viewer is intrigued because what could that little boy possibly want in the city worth ditching his parents for? There is only 2 mentions of the actual brand ...

December 8, 2013. The assignment set for PNP-3002 was designed to increase intrinsic motivation by allowing students to choose their blog topic from anything that interests them within the field of emotion and motivation. Studies have shown that intrinsic motivation increases performance in relation to people who are only externally motivated (Lepper, Corpus, Iyengar, 2005). I encountered two problems with this method of assessment and its relation to motivation. November 28, 2013. Conversion disorder is...

Celebrity endorsement in advertising is seen very often in modern marketing, but this is not a new trend. More specifically, evidence from Kilburn in 1998 suggests that in Japan, celebrity endorsement was so common back then that 70% of the commercials included it. More recent evidence also indicates that within the past decade this strategy has been used a lot ( White, Goddard, and Wilbur, 2009. Another reason...

My Psychological Blog :). So, this week I’m talking about seasonal affective disorder, And basically, the point I want to get across is how much impact on this common disorder in terms of treatment, research has had. However, the disorder does not just produce Depression symptoms, it also invokes Anxiety and other Psychological malfunctions. February 3, 2012. Clearly since the theories fi...

December 18, 2013. The ability to choose our own blog topics enabled us to demonstrate our own individual interests-permitting demonstration of our knowledge and value about the topic, in turn, it initiated situational interest due to the environmental setting (Hidi and Renninger, 2006). By focusing on topics of interest, it enabled students to become ‘proactive learners’ (Knowles, 1975) as they were able to apply factors that they find engaging to them to the module syllabus/content.
