Monday, June 18, 2012. Crossings of London Part Three: Fenchurch Street to Kew Bridge. With the awful winter like 'summer' we've had recently abating slightly I decided to have another crack at my attempt of crossing all London's Bridges, tunnels and ferries. I hoped to finish the last 18 today as they are pretty close together. Read on to find out if I do or not. I took the C2C train to Fenchurch Street which was was thankfully engineering works free. With the UK's early summer-like weather continuing and a late change to my university schedule giving me Friday off I decided to crack on with my challenge of crossing every one of London's bridges, tunnels and ferries. On my first stage a few weeks ago I got as far as the Woolwich ferry before I called it a day- this meant my first crossing today would be the Woolwich Foot Tunnel. Friday, 27 January 2012. Rotherhithe-A Thames Tour 27th January 2012. This walk will take you on a historic tour around the homes and work places of London seafarers. A map of the Thames Tour of Rotherhithe. The start point is Redriff Road Bridge, close to Canada Water tube. This large red lifting bridge was built in 1949 as a temporary measure to span nearby Deptford Creek. It was moved here 10 years later to replace the much older swing bridge. As you walk under the bridge you enter Greenland Dock.

Sunday, 30 October 2011. Walk in Constables Country 28th October 2011. We set off from Highview Grange site and drove to Dedham. On the 28th October 2011 for a walk from Dedham to Flatford Mill. Lucy and Adam standing in a Ford. We walked along crossing the bridge over the River Stour. Looking down on the boat hire and watching the chub and dace swimming in the currents.
