It has been quite some time since I've even been on this blog, and that is because I couldn't add anything to it for confidentiality reasons for our kids. Well, I guess I could have, but it wouldn't have been anything worth reading. On June 5th of last year, a 2 year old little boy came to stay with us. This is our little family blog. Friday, October 17, 2008. Just a very quick update. Yesterday our application packet for our license was submitted to the state. SO, we should have our license within the next two weeks! Friday, October 3, 2008. How Far We've Come. Well, we have officially had our last class in the Foster/Adoptive Parent Training! This is our little family blog. Thursday, January 15, 2009. The Ups and Downs.And We Haven't Even Gotten Started Yet. So I forgot to mention last week. We got a call for respite for twins. We said yes, another family got chosen. Two days later, we get notified of an 11 month old boy. We said yes, another family got chosen. The next day, we get a call about a 3 month old infant with an absolutely heartbreaking story, but that situation wasn't something we were comfortable with, so we had to turn it down.

This is our little family blog. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Haylea's 3rd Birthday - 20 Questions. On January 18th, our girl turned 3 years old. It just doesn't even seem real. Here she is in her shirt (and tutu) she got for her birthday. I found the idea for this on Pinterest, but it is something I would like to do for the kids each year on their birthday. You ask them the same 20 questions each year, to see how much their answers change from year to year. 1 What is your favorite color?
