The View From Here. Life from my perspective. Saturday, January 08, 2011. Is it wrong to make dinner with my earphones in and David Crowder. Somehow the girls' bickering didn't bother me nearly so much tonight while I did that. I had to sacrifice tonight and take the middle piece of Wacky cake. Sometimes you have to take one for the team. Hey, I went all week without any sweets. It's so nice to have library books around again. I found some I've been wanting to read:. Fight Like a Girl. Reconnected with o...

The View From Here. Life from my perspective. Thursday, October 13, 2011. Every time I sit down to blog, or try and think of what to say, I feel like not much is new. I'm tired of saying we are "settled" in Toronto. It's what I say, but I'm not sure it's the truth. I was really looking forward to some adult conversation, especially with people who don't think I'm crazy. :-) Maybe next week. We thought we were settled into a church. The jury is still out on that one. There are definitely pros and ...So, a...

The View From Here: New Season
http://littlerobbie78.blogspot.com/2011/09/new-season.html
The View From Here. Life from my perspective. Thursday, September 15, 2011. So summer is over. It was, over all, a good summer. I can't say I'm sad it's over though. I always love fall, and I am planning to enjoy it again this year. The other day the kids and I found a lovely park. It is like an oasis in a desert to me. There is enough bush to feel like you are not in the city (if you can forget for a few minutes), some nice trails to bike on, picnic areas, and beautiful gardens. One month from today Dar...

The View From Here. Life from my perspective. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Well, here I am. Sitting in a townhouse in Toronto. Hard to believe I "live" here. I put quotation marks around that because it doesn't really feel like we live here in some ways. It just feels like we're staying here for awhile. :-). Storage, etc. But that's okay. We can live around boxes for a year. So, not being city folk, we are trying to look at the bright side of living here. Here are some things we like:. I do have to mention ...

The View From Here: June 2011
http://littlerobbie78.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
The View From Here. Life from my perspective. Friday, June 10, 2011. Some words that have been running through my head these days. I believe You're my Healer. I believe You are all I need. I believe You're my portion. I believe You're more than enough for me. Jesus, You're all I need. By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called. Us to Himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.

The View From Here. Life from my perspective. Monday, May 30, 2011. Okay, I'm here.Probably for the last time until we are moved and settled (just being realistic). I'll try not to sound depressed as I update you on our lives. Life is bittersweet right now. So thankful that being sad to leave Halifax means that we have made wonderful friends. Happy to have seen pictures of the house we'll be renting in TO and feeling pleased with it. Thankful that God guided my surgeon and my leg is healing. Thank you Ro...

The View From Here. Life from my perspective. Monday, May 30, 2011. Anne New and improved. For anyone who wishes they could sit on a porch in PEI and drink coffee with loved ones. But especially for Kim. :-). How Marina feels about lobster. How I feel about lobster (especially lobster in May). My view for quite a few days. Not bad. Just a cute picture from earlier this spring that I love. So thankful that being sad to leave Halifax means that we have made wonderful friends. Rested after 2 days in PEI, si...
