My Bored Nerdy Self : May 2016
http://myborednerdyself.blogspot.com/2016_05_01_archive.html
My Bored Nerdy Self. Sunday, May 15, 2016. Gifted Gorgeousness - May 2016. Today is the 15th and that means it's time for GG! If you want to know more about this SAL, hop on over here. As I stated in my previous post I finished "Love is Patient" and gifted it to my good friends for their wedding. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have been happier for them! Love was definitely patient for them, seeing as they waited 18 years to be able to finally say "I do"! Finished, it looks like this!

http://stitchingreaper.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
You reap what you sew! Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Where's All the Stitching Time Gone? Seriously though, I blink and suddenly June is over. Whoops! It’s been rather busy here lately with plenty of other distractions but I do have a few updates. The Winter Lady just has one more section before her dress is complete! Let’s hope she can somehow keep me cool now that summer is officially starting haha! Must get back to this one …. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). And seeing new places :-). View my complete profile.

The Stitching Reaper: April Stitches
http://stitchingreaper.blogspot.com/2015/04/april-stitches.html
You reap what you sew! Sunday, April 19, 2015. I finished the pink block of my blackwork sampler at last! Although it’s difficult to see each section has two shades of pink in it. Here’s a close up of the different patterns. The four shades I chose are all part of the same pink family, but I thought they would differentiate themselves a bit more than they actually do. I’m going to do the connecting motifs in the same brown as the border and I think that should set off all the colors nicely. The last two ...

The Stitching Reaper: December 2014
http://stitchingreaper.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
You reap what you sew! Wednesday, December 31, 2014. I thought I’d end the year by showing my final finish. Here’s this year’s Christmas ornament for my mom:. This is Santa in a cupcake, designed by Lucie Heaton. Of course, he may not end up as an ornament (my mom’s gift for me this year became a coaster) but that’s still to be decided. I’m still working on finalizing my stitching goals for next year. I’m already looking forward to some new starts I’ve got planned. Friday, December 5, 2014. Can you guess...

Tiki Stitches: YOTA August 2015
http://tikistitches.blogspot.com/2015/08/i-told-myself-iwas-going-to-make-this.html
It's a way of life. Monday, August 3, 2015. I told myself I was going to make this post yesterday. Before it becomes tomorrow, here it is. Admittedly, most of the progress on this happened Friday night and Saturday, but there is progress. I’m hoping by the time I get the large fireplace section done, I’ll have decided on the color for the little stones. Hmm, maybe light and dark, I’ll try to keep that in mind. Check out Pull the Other Thread. For more YOTA posts. August 3, 2015 at 10:49 PM. First finish ...

The Stitching Reaper: July 2014
http://stitchingreaper.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
You reap what you sew! Monday, July 14, 2014. Well jump back, I actually came through on what I said previously, haha! I’ve finished all the metallic silver stitching on the Summer Lady. It doesn’t necessarily show up well in the photo, but the silver comprises the outer border and the edges of her dress and sleeve. I even managed to make a start on the gold metallic stitching, but so far it’s not proving as cooperative. Good thing there isn’t as much of it! Have a great stitching week! I'm Back and Fizz...

The Stitching Reaper: May 2014
http://stitchingreaper.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
You reap what you sew! Saturday, May 24, 2014. Samurai and Summer Lady. Distracty things have been distracting me of late. I thought I’d better make a post before I forgot what I had done, haha! Here’s what I did during the first part of the month:. The second sleeve on the Samurai is finished! I even moved onto the bit of tree on the right but it’s still a work in progress. Just the left half and the gold to go now. Have a great stitching week! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). And seeing new places :-).

The Stitching Reaper: Slo(w)th Update
http://stitchingreaper.blogspot.com/2015/07/slowth-update.html
You reap what you sew! Friday, July 24, 2015. Well it’s been awhile since I’ve shown my progress on Sloth. As the title suggests visible progress seems very slow in the making. However, here’s where I’m at:. I have now forayed into a third pattern page (pg #7) and have stitched down 100 rows. Yay! I made a two part stitching goal for this project this year and I’m very excited as I’ll actually end up accomplishing it. I’m already thinking of expanding this method to some of the other sins next year.

The Stitching Reaper: Wintery Mother's Day
http://stitchingreaper.blogspot.com/2015/05/wintery-mothers-day.html
You reap what you sew! Monday, May 11, 2015. I’ve another update on the Winter Lady today which seems appropriate given that it snowed Saturday into Sunday. It is spring now right? I know it is, as the snow had all melted by the end of the day. More of her dress has been completed! I’m working on the largest section right now, so it’ll be a bit before that’s done. Still I was surprised that there is only one more section to go after this. Hey, another square on London is done! May 11, 2015 at 8:55 PM.
