The Gouldie Zone: April 2011
http://momgould.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Life with our family: Terry, Dorothy, Sophia, Michael and Emily. Sunday, April 24, 2011. Happy Easter to all my faithful readers! Today was an interesting day, we were up early, the kids were a bit crazy from starting their day with jelly beans and malted eggs. And of course, there was the inevitable squabbling. Is there a family out there whose kids don't compare who got what? We were fortunate to have all the grandparents come over in the afternoon for dinner. It was nice to sit on the pollen free ...

The Gouldie Zone: Fireflies/Lightning Bugs

Life with our family: Terry, Dorothy, Sophia, Michael and Emily. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Which do you call them? I don't think it really matters what you call them. To me, they invoke all sorts of memories of playing kickball and SPUD while we waited for the streetlights to come on. That was always our signal it was time to come inside. The Gouldie Zone: April 2010

Life with our family: Terry, Dorothy, Sophia, Michael and Emily. Friday, April 16, 2010. The other morning Michael brought me Sophie's guitar and put on a show. I was wondering where he got his moves until I showed the video to Terry and he burst out laughing. He and Michael had been watching old Who videos on YouTube. I guess this is Michael's rendition of Pete Townsend. Although Pete did not have to contend with the pesky strap like Michael did. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Gouldie Zone: March 2010
http://momgould.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Life with our family: Terry, Dorothy, Sophia, Michael and Emily. Monday, March 29, 2010. March is almost over, and I am really ready for Spring. I've never minded winter, especially since moving South, but am tired of being cooped up. We have had a few days where we've been able to be outside all day, and what a difference that has made. I'm hoping the change in the weather will mean a reduction in the germs we have endured this winter. So here's some March photos, a hodgepodge of what's been going on.

resident aliens: November 2009

Keeping up with Mike, Katharine, James, and Will. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. James recently deigned to help Willy with his reading skills while he was simultaneously watching his new favorite show 'Dinosaur Train' (BTW how did it take this long for someone to finally combine those two? Any parent of a 4 year old boy realizes this is a pure gold recipe). Tuesday, November 03, 2009. Willy as the cutest frog ever. James and Sadie discussing strategy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Keeping up with Mike, Katharine, James, and Will. Sunday, June 13, 2010. James and his BFF Sadie have just finished their second year of swim lessons. The program involved two weeks of hour-a-day lessons. Friday was the final lesson. Good times. They were so much better than last year. The first day of this year's session they were a bit like last time, but by the second day they'd surpassed their skill level from last year. In other words: they rocked. Monday, June 07, 2010. Thursday, June 03, 2010.

Keeping up with Mike, Katharine, James, and Will. Monday, May 23, 2011. James first lost tooth! And Willy who is missing nothing. Here is Emily, Willy, Dylan, and James on Easter at Splint and Lydia's, with the bunny heretofore known as "short ears". And finally, the kindergarten program, which was adorable. Though boredom set in for the kids at about 7 minutes in. Here's James- dressed as a skater to deliver his line. When we go skating down the street, we know that spring is in our feet!
