Running for a reason… Running for a cause… these keep spinning around in my head. I would like to do something that helps others and wrap it around those thoughts. Technically the group I run with raises money for the Touched by Cancer Foundation but we are not required to do so to be a part of this group. I have been taught that by example. Lost in the Dirt.

After two rounds of ankle surgery, too much weight gain and a dramatic life change it's time to move forward. I did manage to complete two marathons and a couple half marry's but they were not fun and I was stressing about beating the clock. Oh and I managed one 40-mile run! Thanks so much. :). Running for a Cause.

Lots has changed. Running is on hold. I will not be able to do the race in November. If you followed along you know I saw an orthopedic surgeon late last year. I was sent to physical therapy and my ankle was taped. That seemed to be working. It was great! I was up to 6 miles pain free! How much better could it get?
