Monday, 23 September 2013. I can't believe how nearly I just started this blog post "Dear all" - clearly I write too many emails for my own good. Anyway, back on to business. It has been a poor week for weight loss as I have somehow managed to put on 2.7lb(! Which has literally put me straight back to square one with 21lbs still to lose. At first I was all, how have I managed that? I've been surviving on bananas and cous cous! But then I remembered last week:. I went to TGI Fridays. I went out for a curry.

Wednesday, 29 May 2013. My couch to 5K experience. Two days ago I ran for 25 minutes without stopping. It wasn't hard. I could have done more. I wasn't even sweating that much. I was breathing normally. This might sound (literally) unbelievable, and to me it is (figuratively) unbelievable, but I will tell you my little story. 8 x 1 minute runs. Saturday, 27 July 2013. My first 5k and subsequent pox. So last Sunday I completed the Race for Life! Here is a vaguely tragic photo of me after I had finished to show it really happened and that these are not the ramblings of a deranged fantasist. Please excuse the loon-ish grin. After 3 seasons of dedicating for my beloved team, I can say I have done my part . I am tired. Is the team my motivation? Guess not, I was never a people person to start with in the first place.
