SFM Second Half Marathon – Race Report | Kristin Running
https://kristintarr.wordpress.com/2010/07/26/sfm-second-half-marathon-race-report
Some Running, a Little Relay Planning and a Trip to Tahoe. A Whole New Self? SFM Second Half Marathon – Race Report. I’d like to say that this is a race report where I’m giving details on how I crushed it, how I was able to pick-up the pace, hit my time goal and PR! But that is definitely NOT what this race was about. This was not a serious race whatsoever, and I have to say, I think it’s quite possibly the funnest race I have ever run! We left our house around 5:30 am with Aron. Me, Danica, Page and Aron.

Holly on the Run: February 2009
http://hollyontherun.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Holly on the Run. A tale of training, running, and triathlons. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. An interview and a 10 miler on the opposite coast. Here I am, posting from North Carolina on my Grandma's computer. When it's 9:30 here. And it wanted dinner at 10 pm EST. Good times. And I made it:. This was pretty awesome for a few reasons. I went so far, I ran in two towns! I thought this gas station was appropriately named. This was about 4 miles in. You can kind of see the non-existent shoulder I was w...The f...

Where I’ve been…and where I want to go | Kristin Running

Motivated to Make it Happen →. Where I’ve been…and where I want to go. I lost my job, then Stephen lost his yikes! I didn’t run a marathon😦. I lost contact with a lot of friends through the process of starting a new career. I wasn’t able to visit my family in the Midwest. I started a new career that I LOVE. Stephen and I BOTH rebounded from our job losses and are doing better than ever. We went on an amazing trip to Maui where we miraculously met up with some great friends. Run 11 races this year at lea...

I remembered my login for this thing…. Some Running, a Little Relay Planning and a Trip to Tahoe →. Ima be, Ima be, Ima Ima Ima beeee! For some reason, I LOVE that song right now! Well, I actually have a good reason for loving this song. Stephen calls me B I don’t know why, but everyone who knows us pretty much knows that’s his name for me. So when this song came out, I started laughing and was like Hey! Now every time it comes on, we laugh and I sing it. We’re silly, I know. What a great weekend! Sunday...

A Whole New Self? | Kristin Running
https://kristintarr.wordpress.com/2010/07/30/a-whole-new-self
SFM Second Half Marathon – Race Report. A Whole New Self? How can I resist! How sad is that. So, year after year I continue to pay $12 annually, thinking, this year I will read it! I will find the time! I was hooked from the beginning by the Editor’s Letter. It was titled Transform yourself! I couldn’t believe it your body is 1% different, or renewed EVERY DAY. Your taste buds are different, even your muscles are completely new after 90 days. And the best part of all? Other cool things from this issue:.

Slow Mofo: June 2009
http://slowmofo.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Slower than molasses. but twice as sweet. Negotiation, Disappointment, Optimism. Monday, June 29, 2009. Kids, the last 2 weeks or so have been somewhat frustrating. Lemme break it down for you. Soak, wash, rinse, repeat. I'm realizing that not being "good" at running has become a low-level frustration for me. Let me clarify: I was always good at sports, but I'm not a hyper-competitive guy. In baseball or football or whatever, I always tried to do. Best, but I never really cared what the final score was.

Where I’ve been…and where I want to go. Motivated to Make it Happen. January 28, 2011. Reflecting on what’s made this change, I realized that I have a lot of great things going on in my life that have made me more excited to reach these goals. If you read Runners Rambles. You’ll see that we have a pretty similar post going on! I won’t digress too much, but will say that these things are making me super, uber motivated to kick some asphalt. San Francisco Marathon Training Program. Not to mention, a very c...

Ima be, Ima be, Ima Ima Ima beeee! SFM Second Half Marathon – Race Report →. Some Running, a Little Relay Planning and a Trip to Tahoe. Running has been so great! Last week I did two runs with Aron. Thursday I did 7.5 with her and Friday I limped through about 5.5. And by limp, I seriously mean LIMPED through it. I thought I was going to die! I don’t know if I was just so tired from the run before, because it was Friday, or because it was early, whatever it was my body was not very happy with me! That’s ...
