Because it Does. Because I Do (at Running). Two Half Marathons Down, The Mother of All Relays Awaits Me. This year I’ve run two half marathons (NYC and DC) and I’m excited to run Hood to Coast. This year has definitely been one of the highlights of all the years of my life because of how much I’ve physically accomplished. Sunday, November 13, 2011. It was chilly at the race start and I dressed warm - too warm and I had to ditch my new running room jacket at the first water station - thank you volunteers for making sure it made it back to me safely at the end! Decked out in pom poms! This was my second Hostelling International Race Event.
