http://kinverkid.blogspot.com/2010/11/stratford-upon-avon-and-10k.html

The story of my struggle to keep my weight down and keep fit. Saturday, 20 November 2010. Stratford Upon Avon and 10K. Julie arranged for us to have a weekend break to Stratford and of course to entice me there it incorporated a 10K. After the race we headed into Stratford to our hotel where I thawed out in the spa and steam room. All in all, a really nice weekend in a town oozing history. The story of my struggle to keep my weight down and keep fit. Wednesday, 24 March 2010. Way I get to know where the buses, trams and trains stop, where the shops are and I get to see some sights too. Now back in the UK I ran a ten miler along the canal to avoid hard surfaces then ran a 5.5 miler today. I can still feel a little pain in my heel and the ache in my ankle seems to have subsided. Will keep an eye on the both of them. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Race Report: Brighton Marathon. I signed up for this one last year after experiencing ‘race envy’ of other people’s sunny seaside marathon photos. I fancied having a go at a big city marathon (knowing I’m never likely to get into London) and having a stab at getting a quicker time. I adjusted my expectations from ‘achieve PB’ to ‘just finish without dying’ and felt better about the whole thing. The start was pretty well organised (though some people had obviously managed to get into the wrong corrals)&#4...

NO PAIN/NO GAIN

Monday, September 21, 2009. Sorry about complete lack of updates. Sadly I got injured :(. I've started playing field football on Sundays. First week I tweaked my knee and ankle (both right leg) so I took it easy at home for 6 days. Returned to football the following Sunday. Now, Im only about 5'8 or 5'9 so I've stopped playing in goal for field football (but continue to do so in futsal). Our keeper turned up late so I played the first half in goal (keeping a clean sheet in the process! Of weight on it.

Tuesday, April 2, 2013. A Level Playing Field. There seems to be an on-going debate on the fairness of competition when you have foreigners competing in the event. To be honest, I do have two sets of thoughts in this. 1. We need to look into some of the nation top runners perspective. 2. In the context of competition, an event bringing in the best runners around the world would be great to improve the country's sporting standards. This is what I got from Wikipedia. A level playing field. Just a facts of ...

Activities in Lake Tahoe include swimming, boating, paddle boarding, cycling, running, walking, shopping, eating, and drinking. What’s not to love about this place? When the world tells you…. It’s been months since my last post and I sincerely apologise for that. I’ve been taking photos of Team 9Lives for almost a year on a weekly basis. This blog only shows a pittance of the vast amount of images I have taken and I’ve reached a point where my images have overwhelmed me. Rdquo; to which one replied, “When the world tells you to stop, when it becomes impossible for you to continue on with the project or when your subjects tell you to stop.”. Well, continue of course!
